There is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentc, being a full tme music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head. About the mix, oh... a bit difficult to write about. I mean its a studio mix, so its different from live mixes which I'm performing in the clubs, so usually a bit slower and more focus on storytelling than clubbing/peak time. So the mix is about my current favourites, tracks from my label and some of my upcoming album tracks.

It's by no means a coincidence that Tim Engelhardt released his debut album on Steve Bug's Poker Flat label at the tender age of 17 years old. For his musical education began a full decade earlier, when he made his first encounter with classical music theory on the piano at home. Influenced by the musical leanings of his parents, with Mike Oldfield's compositions being particularly formative, Tim soon discovered the tracks of Cologne producer Robert Babicz, shifting his focus to computers and synthesizers as the primary means of production. In the midst of a diverse new generation of young producers who'd source their inspiration from a whole range of genres, Tim kicked off his career as he released his first vinyl EP at the age of 14. It's the combination of a deep-running music knowledge and an intuitive playfulness that Tim has been cultivating since then, expressing itself in a great love for harmony and expanding melodic structures, paired with an organic flow and atmospheric density. As a result, Tim's impressive output of the past years found a home on labels like Poker Flat, Cityfox, Watergate, Fryhide, Innervisions, Vivrant and, most recently, on Oliver Koletzki's Stil vor Talent, where his second album 'Idiosynkrasia' was released in 2020. His work in the studio is only one side of the coin, however, as Tim has been touring the globe extensively, playing dance floors at festivals and clubs in Australia, Africa, India, Europe and the US. Here, Tim found a home away from home in New York, where the renowned Cityfox awarded him with a permanent residency at the super-club Avant Gardner. His continuous presence in the Big Apple culminated in the musical contribution to the New York Timesbestseller project 'The Outlaw Ocean' by journalist Ian Urbina. During the touring drought of the pandemic and thanks to his tireless research in the studio, Tim was able to make a name for himself as a sound engineer, upgrading the mixdowns of other artists. Additionally he released numerous sample packs and software templates in 2021, aiding young artists in their own production quests. Tim Engelhardt's vision for the future: Art with personality – art that holds a piece of its creator at its heart. His mission is to translate the sounds in his head into reality as convincingly as possible. Which explains why Tim's productions don't really sound like the standard DJ fodder, as he delivers a well-rounded musical vision to the club floor, that is just as awe inspiring on the hi-fi system of your living room.

Carsten Halm is a german Dj and producer but keeps his doings very much under the radar.

He started his early career more then10 years ago as a dj avoiding club play but instead played at self organized parties in the countryside near Cologne on a hillside with just two residencies. The parties got so famous that Sven Väth and others came to visit . This experience over the years prepared himself to understand the essential goals for his music productions. His music has the unique quality to bring people together and experience something very positive.
Now Carsten is playing propper clubs as well but keeps what he thinks is truthfully his roots.

In 2018/2019 he released on the Cologne label Monkey League of which „Mondlicht" und „Traumtänzer" were very well received and ended up in the top positions of Top 100 at Beatport.
His recent release in 2020 on Parquet was supported by Artbat, Solomon,Animal Trainer, Format-B, Eelke Kleijn and also made it into the top positions the Beatport charts.

Andrzej Siniarski-Czaplicki aka Sincz is a Polish DJ and Producer based in Warsaw. Since describes his style of music to be house and melodic house techno. Having been Burn Residency 2014 finalist, Sincz had an opportunity to further develop his skills with the mentoring from @carl-cox, @john-digweed and @petetong followed by appearances in all major Ibiza venues. Among Sincz’s many productions, special attention deserve the apperances on @renaissance-recordings and @steyoyoke. Monotunes? These are the two guys with that driving, deep sound. The DJ duo is less than two years old in this line-up and yet their musical language is already loud and clear. The story started with no less an event than the after show of the Pollerwiesen Festival in 2015 where Dortmund HipHop veteran Nils was to play his first electronic gig quite unexpectedly. Of course, Soulmate Philo had even more experience and endless buck at his side with lots of beer. A fat set and a dance floor full of enthusiastic people later, the Monotunes 2.0 were born. Since then the guys have been working meticulously on their sound. Producing podcasts, mixtapes and songs – sometimes in pairs, sometimes with support from their large musical network and using every free second they don’t spend with job or family. With his passion for ever new hardware, techno junkie Nils provides the tools that, together with Philos‘ many years of experience and creativity, form the perfect basis for the monotunes sound.
