True Debreuil aka Ewol is a young drum n bass producer hailing from the east coast of Australia. From this remote area across the world he has made a positive entry in the scene having 3 of his first tunes featured in Noisia's weekly radio show as well as London Elektricity's Hosptial records podcast, showing a clear sign of quality that is soon to come. His tunes have also been supported by a plethora of other well known names in the scene such as Signal, Arkaik, Amoss, Posij and Fre4knc to name a few. With a range of releases set for this year including a debut ep on Uk label Flexout Audio and tracks on Plasma Audio, Ewol is surely one to watch out for!

To say that Document One “defy categorisation” wouldn't quite get across the whole truth. For one thing, it's a cliché, and to use a cliché to describe their brand of gritty, smoky, jazz-inspired, funk-infused dancefloor D&B just wouldn't be right. Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2009, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, through Skankandbass Introducing we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

After eighteen releases last year showcasing the best newcomer talent, our first single of 2020 picks up right where we left off with Josh Schofield aka Dedman.  While the Bristol based talent has been gaining traction with a series of accomplished releases on up-and-coming labels, he properly came onto our radar last year with his excellent ‘Stockholm EP’ on Lost Recordings.  On SNB063 he shows off his dark sound design on A-side ‘Jackals’, and recruits fellow newcomer LNO on the heavyweight ‘Morsel’.
