Journey. It is an enigmatic two track EP that maintains the warmth and easiness of summer and shows the smoother side of the producer. Therefore, the first track "Journey" takes us on a trip into a bright sunset with the last warming rays of light after a relaxing and comforting day. With its ambient, flowing, buzzing and slightly mysterious power, the track fits perfectly into the world between day and night - making curious what's to come next. And when the light has slowly disappeared, we slip into a mild late-summer's night with the second track "Note". This is a straight deep house experience with hidden secrets waiting to be found and explored. Meanwhile, the body wants to start dancing into a long and tempting night - maybe leading to the familiar, as darker and harder sound of Daniele Di Martino.

Music has many dimensions. MONO.NOISE's new 'Ikhonco' EP shows four different of them. The leading track 'Ikhonco' is produced by French DJ and musician EMORINE who presently lives in Berlin. It comes with a dark, vibrant and slightly mysterious energy that reveals the side of Deep House working perfectly into the club. EMORINE chose the name 'Ikhonco' cause it means 'hyphen' - the little but powerful element that connects two words to one and creates a new meaning - as 'the period I created the title was a transition period for me', he says.

There are two remix versions of 'Ikhonco' on the EP: One is done by BAAL * and comes rather minimal with a wafting energy that reminds of misty landscapes in the dawn. For those who love it less melancholic, the second remix version by Dan Grassler might be a perfect choice. The track combines straightness, clarity and a great pushing vibe without losing the spirit of the original. 

After exploring 'Ikhonco' from three different perspectives, one adventure is even left: With the B-side 'Impulse', EMORINE shows his playful and experimental side, mixing dreamy melodic with cool, metallic sound features. The track has a strong and very willful energy and was inspired by 'positive changes which gave me an energy', EMORINE says.

John F. Kennedy’s famous statement has lost none of its appeal and Berlin based producer Philipp Kroth merges it with the current spirit of Berlin’s club life. His track has a straight, liberate, dark and secret atmosphere which says: everything is possible but nothing will be forced. Berlin offers exactly such a lack of limitations with its endless universe of electronic music culture, in which personal origins don’t play a role but allow to create an immense diversity of „being a Berliner“.

The second track „Bring me back“ convinces with a vibrant and lively groove that spreads a feeling of easiness and euphoria which is the perfect condition for an endless dancing session on the floor – but be careful: you could completely loose yourself!

“Cartago” is a spherical deep house track that starts quite relaxing before it builds up an atmosphere of tension. The break leaves time to breathe before it moves into a rather reflective mood. Thus, “Cartago” is reluctant and attacking as much as philosophical and compact at the same time – all united in one track. 

The second track “Green” comes with a rather dark mood. Here we slip into a slightly misty atmosphere that sends the listener on a path of the unexpected. It is the attraction of ambiguity that shapes this track – where the soul is allowed to discover the forgotten and dusty corners of the mind that seem to be neglected – but need to be revisited every now and then.

'Sadom' featuring Poludnice feels like a ritual that leaves the end open. An impulsive baseline, deep and wide atmospheres supported by hypnotic vocals. 

The remix for 'Sadom' is coming from house head David Jach. He created a vibe that keeps you dancing through the whole track - absolute groover. 

The last track 'Panienskie' is a collaboration with his friend Sincz and the power here is definitely emphasised through the drumming. Acoustic percussions supported by a subtle used arp and whistle.
