//Was bedeutet deine Musik für dich?//
Musik war schon immer ein großer Bestandteil meines Lebens. Konzerte, Clubs & Festivals waren für mich ein Ort an dem ich Probleme für einen Moment vergessen konnte. Vor allem bedeutet Musik für mich aber, mich in Songs wiederzufinden und mir das Gefühl zu geben, verstanden zu werden, so zu tanzen, dass mein Körper sich in der Musik verliert. Angefangen mit Hardcore/Metalcore und heute hin zu Techno & Trance liebe ich es, wenn es vorwärts, aber auch melodisch zugeht.

//Woher nimmst du deine Inspiration?//
Meistens nehme ich mir die Inspiration aus Sets von Künstler*innen die selbst gern höre und kuratiere auf der Basis von 2-3 Tracks die mir gefallen eine neue Playlist und schaue dann beim Proben, welchen Sound ich generieren kann. Ich mag’s groovy, bouncy und mit viel Bass. Auch Clubnächte und das Gesamte drum herum inspirieren mich, mich weiter zu entwicklen und meinen eigenen Sound zu finden.

//Was muss sich deiner Meinung nach an der Szene ändern?//
Es muss sich ändern, dann Flinta einen besseren Zugang zur (elektronischen) Musikszene haben. Hört man oft I know, aber so easy ist es leider immer noch nicht. Bei mir hat es drei Jahre gedauert, vom Wunsch Aufzulegen bis zum ersten Schritt in Richtung eines CDJ’s. Vor allem für Leute mit einem niedrigen Einkommen oder sozialem Kapital und fehlenden Ressourcen ist es nochmal schwieriger. Ich wünsche mir, dass Kollektive & Vereine offener sind, in dem sie sich dafür einsetzen Menschen die Bock haben, beim Einstieg zu unterstützen. Auch ein solidarisches Miteinander unter Künstler*innen selbst fehlt mir
manchmal.

Huiuiui ganz schön viel los dieses Jahr! Da es lange still war auf unserem Channel, kommen wir jetzt umso flotter zurück. Dafür hat robrobpop seinen ersten Podcast für uns aufgenommen, und was für einen! Pünktlich zur Winter Club Saison gibt es ein feines, energetisches Set von ihm auf die Ohren. Mit seinem neu gegründeten Kollektiv-Verein säXXtasy hat Robin dieses Jahr bereits erste Wellen geschlagen und die Festival Saison im Frühjahr mit der Premiere des saXXella Festivals gebührend eröffnet. In seinen Sets findet er für euch den Sweetspot zwischen Detroit und Industrial Techno mit dem gelegentlichen Hauch von Trance. Man munkelt: Die perfekte Einstimmung fürs Wochenende. Oder um einfach mal wieder ein bisschen in Schwung zu kommen. Also Speakers on und viel Spaß!

Anka is a Leipzig based DJ and part of Italo Fundamentalo. Today we get to meet her other DJ ego bad:belle. From breakbeat and UK garage to ghetto tech, bad:belle takes you into a world full of funky and bouncy sounds. Influenced by dance and chant, she curates colorful and cross-genre sets. According the motto "all killers - no fillers" it's about heating up the dance floor and making people happy!

Since the age of 16 she has been regularly out and about in the subculture and often went to parties. She admires DJs who created atmosphere and so wanted to DJ herself for a long time. But only got access to it when moving to Leipzig. Since 2021/2022 she has been concentrating very much on music. For her, music was and is self-empowerment in a male domain, as well as a catalyst for thoughts and feelings.

The track selection was partly a feminist decision for her.. The mix takes up the debate about the right to self-determination with one's own (female/queer) body. It's about taboo female lust and self-confident handling of "feeling sexy". Based on the song of the same name "only for me", the mix is ​​an appeal for the right to self-determination and against the objectification of FLINTA. It is a plea for the liberation of the female and queer body from any norms and constraints. 
With this mix she wanted to create a musical space where FLINTA could feel sexy, safe and fierce.
