Undertale genocide if it wasn't actually a boring ass route:

This seems unsatisfying, like what ut genocide failed to do. One question though. Since resets are linked to the underground, and you fight them in the surface, would you be able to true reset?

I don't know the full context of this song or if it's a part of a fangame, but I have an idea of what the fight could be like. Basically, I'd have Undyne be able to dodge like Sans can, since I believe there's dialogue that implies she can dodge attacks (training with Asgore to be the head of the Royal Guard). She could then get somewhat tired and start tanking hits from Frisk. Either half or a sliver of hp remaining, she'll decide to flee from the fight, the dialogue in the description starts then this song plays.

Undyne persists even with all the damage you've already done to her. Papyrus is gone now. She's pretty much the last of her kind... and after all the humans that have gone looking for monsters to pin the blame on, she feels she won't have much else to look back on soon.

But she cannot give up. She cannot let you kill her. So she doesn't. Instead, she simply walks off. She knows she can't beat you, that you'll find a way to beat her if she keeps going. So she leaves.

===== CLARIFICATIONS =====
I've declared this deserves its own section so I don't have to break the initially intended flow of this description.

This may raise some questions as well as to how Undyne's even able to survive any hits against a LV20 human. Fair question! I think however it's pretty important to look at the sort of monsters you fight in Hotland or the CORE and the level Frisk would be at at that stage. Already fairly close to LV20. If regular encounter monsters can tank 2-3 full power hits at like LV16/17 I think someone like Undyne could take a hell of a lot.

(Also, probably worth mentioning that I don't think Frisk would have the true knife/heart locket that they have in Undertale, those being the strongest weapons in the game. They'd still pack one hell of a punch, don't get me wrong! Just realistically not as much as they would've having the strongest possible weapon.)

There's also simply that Undyne probably wouldn't let Frisk get many hits in. This battle would, even considering Karmic Sans, be long, difficult and most importantly leave you with a REALLY unsatisfying ending if you're one of those people who just want to see the world burn.

Try as you might, she simply WILL NOT let you kill her, and there's no reality in which she *would* let you.

Monster Mix is an Undertale AU made by a friend of mine back in 2016-2017. They've unfortunately since left the Undertale SoundCloud scene, but I still look back on this AU rather fondly. We've gone through numerous attempts of reiterating the AU, but the approach I'm taking here is having it based heavily on the oldest versions of the roles we had decided on. While the newer ones were definitely very cool too, it doesn't feel right to do that new take without them on board.

The roles will be revealed as time goes on, but there's a decent chance they're already known to quite a handful of you.
