Monsterbox was formed in 2016 by Kevin de Zwart (guitarist of Dutch rockabilly band Kev Black and the Muffdivers) en Koen Wieringa (frontman of the Dudes of Hazzard). Later on, legendary Dutch drummer Jur in 't Veld, (Sons of Mogh) joined the band.

Monsterbox isn't really sticking to a specific genre. We are a rockband making a lot of moves to other influences and genres. We like to experiment with different tunings, effects and even instruments.
