Renowned Spanish DJ and producer Dosem releases his highly anticipated album ‘Desire’ on Anjunadeep. The album features standout collaborations with LA-based singer, songwriter, DJ and producer HANA, New Zealander vocalist Carla Werner, and American singer, producer, and DJ SOHMI.

With a career spanning over 15 years, Marc Dosem released his debut album ‘Parallel’ in 2011 on former Hong Kong imprint Sino and first teamed up with Anjunadeep in 2018 on two-track single ‘Not A Coincidence / Why Give Up Before We Try’. Known for his club anthems that have soundtracked late nights and early mornings on dancefloors around the world, Dosem has released on Toolroom, Armada, Purified and his own label Houstrike, alongside delivering remixes for the likes of Hot Since 82, Above & Beyond and Eli & Fur. He is also well known for his 2021 collaboration with Tinlicker, ‘Hypnotised’, which has racked up over 10 million streams across all platforms.

An artist who’s always in demand, Dosem has already completed headline tours in Australia and the USA this year, and has recently played in London, Tokyo and his hometown of Girona. Alongside these appearances, Marc has appeared on festival stages at Ultra Miami, Sónar Festival, SXM Festival and Tomorrowland, and been supported by Boiler Room, who aired his set from Girona’s Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya all the way back in 2017.

In the four years since his previous artist album ‘Dream Decoder’, Dosem has continued to finesse his signature blend of progressive and deep house designed to get people moving and bring crowds of like-minded music lovers together.

His new album, ‘Desire’, is heavily influenced by ‘90s progressive house and techno, and reflects their euphoric, deep, and atmospheric qualities through a modern lens. Across its twelve tracks, the LP explores themes of community, connection, and passion.

It is a return to my roots through an album that captures the experience of falling in love on a dancefloor, during the sunset of an eternal summer, where the rhythm grows like a wave until it reaches a climax of escapist euphoria; that magical moment of connection with oneself and with others. An album that blends emotion, rhythm, and passion. Desire is an emotion that contains those ingredients and is something profoundly human that moves us and drives us to act, an eternal vital rhythm that resonates with dance. Dosem’s productions make a statement in any set, and recent singles  ‘Answer’ featuring SOHMI, ‘Conjunction’ and ‘Sensations’ have already received a warm welcome at Marc’s shows, and support on BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM BPM. The 12-track album also features standout vocal tracks like ‘Ethernal’ (with HANA) and ‘Cold Shores’ (with Carla Wener), which sit alongside club-ready instrumentals like ‘Tranced House’ and ‘Deeper Connections’. All combined, these works form a cohesive, progressive house journey that is sure to captivate fans and fellow producers alike.

This autumn, Dosem will be taking the album where it belongs - the dancefloor - and the first leg of his tour will feature shows in North America, an album launch party at E1 London and stops at Anjunadeep Open Air shows in San Diego and at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tickets are available now.

F.O.O.L - Redshift

Following his massive release ‘Strange World’ earlier this year, Czech producer Dominik Gehringer returns to Purified, teaming up with Ovadia for their ‘Digital Age’ EP. Entering a futuristic realm through spoken word vocoders, heavy percussion and soaring synths, the producers explore a cacophony of sounds in the title track. Delivering a peak time cut, Dominik leads audiences on an energetic journey throughout a hybrid and impactful soundscape in his second offering ‘Dance With Me’.

The ‘Digital Age’ artwork showcases a striking image of a blacktip shark, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus) are powerful predators found in tropical and subtropical waters, playing a key role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems by regulating prey populations. These sharks are known for their distinctive black-tipped fins and their remarkable agility, often leaping out of the water during feeding frenzies. Unfortunately, overfishing and habitat degradation are threatening their populations. The Shark Research Unit, (@sharkresearchunit / shark-research.com), is conducting critical studies on shark behavior, ecology, and conservation to protect these vital species and ensure the health of ocean ecosystems.

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.
