"Arrival 01: Destination United Kingdom" is an exciting new chapter for Silk Music's Arrival division. It is the first edition of a new compilation series that features brand new tracks by the imprint's core contributors, many of whom are now recognized as leading talents in Trance & Progressive. Mixed by standout label artist Marsh and Arrival's label manager Probity, the compilation includes 15 visionary cuts, with an additional "bonus" track also available in the iTunes version.

Arrival is now supported consistently on the world's leading Trance & Progressive radio shows, including Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy". I originally wrote this as a lullaby for a girl over a year ago, and over the year it turned into what it is today. There much more to say, but sometimes things are better left imagined. Thanks Michael from Illuminor for the glorious lyrics and vocals, and thank you Silk Music for charming me into releasing some progressive breaks :)

With his debut artist album officially arriving to stores in a fortnight, American sensation Dan Sieg (of Dan & Sam) has undoubtedly emerged as one of the leaders of Silk Royal. A thrilling series of releases by Dan in the proceeding months begins with "No Way Back Up," the first single from his forthcoming "A Sense Of Wonder" artist album. Dan has never shied away from writing emotive vocal anthems; his past Dan & Sam hit "Walls," featuring Maxx Hennard, proved to be one of the most supported singles in the history of our imprint. It is our great joy to present a new collaboration between Dan and Silk veteran duo Illuminor, who not only have been producing trance & progressive hits of their own of late, but who also are capable of writing and performing breathtaking vocals.

In "No Way Back Up," a gentle breakbeat slowly picks up steam, while a variety of bell-tinged hooks and other supporting melodies contribute a lush soundscape. The patient crescendo ultimately culminates into a stunning chorus by Michael Ware of Illuminor, who sings of the tragic dissolution of a relationship. Michael profoundly delivers the metaphor of a fall too painful and far, from which to recover.

The title track takes off with an energetic soundscape, which includes numerous prominent beat layers and intricate sound effects. As the song progresses, stunning arpeggios and hypnotizing melodies emerge; in the break, blissful pads are at play, which unite beautifully with the existing elements. In the early going of "The Lights," a strong male vocal, united with unique sound effects, form a breathtaking atmosphere. Soon thereafter, tremendous synth work and otherworldly, lush beats are introduced, and the addition of captivating synth stabs and pad layers makes this song an unforgettable aural experience.

Ten years in the making, his debut album, "Landscapes & Dimensions," finds the Hungarian virtuoso in peak form. A champion of various shades of house and trance, as well as a pioneer of the melodic progressive breaks genre, Aeron continues to test the boundaries of sound design, all the while showcasing his unique brand of forward-thinking, cinematic, and emotive electronic music.

Aeron's eclectic, yet consistently beautiful (if not ethereal) debut album comprises over a dozen extraordinary tracks, including four standout vocal numbers with Simon Latham, Sean Darin, Sebastian, and Krister Linder. Other album collaborators include Bobalino, Retroid, and fellow resident sensation Terry Da Libra, who lends production support to the album's breathtaking first single, "Hope Unchained." The album intro and outro cuts, the mystical and gorgeous "Florescence" and "Syntharsia," prove to be veritable scores to untitled films, and outside-the-box, acoustic-meets-electronic numbers like "Summaer On" and "Baranya" explore Aeron's interest in more primitive, world-music influenced instrumentation. Of course, Aeron's passion for breaks remains stronger than ever, and, on that front, he proudly showcases a few of this finest examples of the genre, including the album's second single, "Falling," and the most obvious homage, "Mind Driver."
