Reflected across overlapping dimensions born of divergent causal chains, the single thread of an age-old story spun its wondrous tale time and time again, each new weaving of its tapestry of tales garbed in novel forms but resounding with a similar refrain. In a land dominated by the sea, two haggard sailors set sail in search of the knowledge that lay beyond the horizon. In a land of heroes and legends, two knights quested for that which would rid their kingdom of a sorcerer’s malevolent curse. In the lands of a far distant future, a novel pharmaceutical allowed its patients to delve into the knowledge of their ancestors, watching the events of their lives as a silent observer to the collective memory that all held within. In the primal lands that lay under the cold embrace of a black sun, three wolves set out for new hunting grounds across the frigid north.

In each & every dimension, these linked souls each sought the treasure of knowledge lost, held in stasis by its isolation and eagerly awaiting its rediscovery. The mystical draw of such knowledge was constant, its tendrils of influence stretching beyond planar boundaries as it spurred those who heard its call to new feats of heroism. Thus it was in each of these dimensions, and thus it was in a final land, one in which two cowboys rode into the depths of the wilderness and in which saloons would soon sing the ballad of Scrugss & Sonny Jim.

EATBRAIN & BURR OAK unveil the Somewhere It's Reborn remixes, a mammoth companion work of collaborative effort to the original album that sees twelve of its tracks remixed and reimagined by a hand-selected list of like-minded sonic explorers to the twin minds behind BURR OAK.

Burr Oak - Running Next To The Bison (TESSERACTS Remix)

With THE COLLABORATION, MV, Vandermou, and Deadfussion deliver a fierce 4-track EP that blurs the lines between Drum & Bass, rap, and metal influences. The result is an incredibly universal soundscape that speaks equally to headbangers, metalheads and ravers.

From the explosive opener 'The Collaboration', with its rallying hook 'No imitation, no limitation,' to the sinister 'Haunted' and its twisted introspection, each track captures a different emotional charge. 'Feel The Bass' turns distortion into rhythm, building tension around guttural vocal samples, while 'Shadows' closes the project with nu-metal energy and screamed verses riding over crushing DnB drums.

THE COLLABORATION channels the intensity and individuality of each producer into one cohesive, hard-hitting project built for both the dancefloor and the underground.

A. System Error
As the system collapses from within, System Error corrodes your innards like an infection spreading through corrupted code and decaying hardware. Peter Kurten, Air J & Section 63 deliver a precision assault of distorted breakwork and mechanical bass pressure, every hit dripping with tension and decay. Giving modern classic techy, stompy vibes, this is dark, underground drum & bass at its finest. Clean but dirty, raw but also baby is a bit sophis-timacated. The groove convulses, the subs grind, and somewhere beneath the noise, a pulse keeps fighting to survive. Perfectly aligned with the Therapy Sessions ethos: full on badassery and utterly uncompromising.

Scandium 21 emerges from the wreckage of a digital wasteland.... a cold, metallic pulse forged in static and ghost frequencies. Section 63, Air J & Peter Kurten sculpt a soundscape where the machinery never sleeps, only mutates. Super loving the distorted percussion that drives beneath layers of vaporous ambience and subterranean bass weight. Every moment feels suspended between order and collapse, just like modern humanity LOL sorry...couldn't help it.

Finalfix is one of the main artists in the modern DNB scene that made me realise how much this genre was able to let me freely express my own inner musicality, then helping me decide to consecrate my work more deeply into this creative open world... so taking part in this Remix Contest was kind of natural and even mandatory for me!
I hope this super silly take on this epic track will entertain and surprise some of you, its a bit messy, a bit too much, but working on this remix took me far away from reality and ideas came through in pack, bringing life to something I would never have imagined!
