Blob Robber was created by using a combination of processed rubber bands, the Arturia Microfreak and Elektron Syntakt to create synth stabs and basslines. I wanted to create a track that was extremely physical in its sound characteristics, with lots of contrast and dynamics. It turned into a Drum & Bass track, where I imagine a large instinctual and impulsive creature called the Blob Robber, who steals and consumes blobs. He is being chased by an incompetent police force, like an 80s cop movie. He isn't that fast but doesn't hesitate to steal everything in his path in a relentless way, like Mr Stealy from Rick & Morty.

Blob Robber

It’s now possible to say that I’m composing the music for the game “ILL” by Team Clout and Max Verehin. This has been in the works for almost a year now, and today the first single from it has been released — “Whale Song”. I hope you enjoy it, and I’m looking forward to sharing more with you soon.

I Sleep

Earlier this year we released a Free Samplepack by Flint Kids that accompanied his “Sancerre” EP.

Followed by a great deal of positive feedback, we decided to hold a contest: entrants were to simply make a track from the sounds in the pack + a handful of their own, but no more. Best tracks were to be released on a compilation but we received so many high quality tracks that we had no other choice but to make two compilations.

The result of this experiment are these two V/A’s entitled Field Emitter (18 tracks) & Antibody (10 tracks).
