Melting Moments ep 10 - Skylab Radio

As the sun sets over the crater on the 3rd day of Hopkins Creek.
I perch in the Planetarium tent, a space assisting for meditation, reflection, calmness, togetherness & a bit of a dance if you so will.
Jack tells me "Feel free to not play ambient music if you want".
My interpretation of music presented here was put together on the fly, it is in my eyes, uplifting, hopeful, joyful & tender. 
A warm hug shared between friends over the course of the three days.
Special life-long memories.

Original production sound collage as part of "Hydrosomatic Experiences" group exhibition, May 2023. Released on cassette limited to 25 copies.

Using sound as a medium, I examined the ways in which our bodies & mind interact, connect & relate to water. Focusing on the healing properties of water & sound.
Just in the same way as the waves crash on the shore and roll back out to sea, the looping of melodies & sound was done in mind to imitate this act.
I emplore you to take some time for yourself & listen in full by a body of water of your choosing.
