In unserer 56 Auflage des #0815podcast haben wir den 26 jährigen #DBS aus Meiningen zu Gast.
Schon im Alter von 14 Jahren setzte er sich mit Fruity Loops auseinander und war in dem Genre House und Dubstep unterwegs. Mit 18 bekam er zu Weihnachten seinen ersten Controller von Hercules mit dem er seine ersten Schritte hinter dem Deck machte.

Im Sommer 2015 baute er sich, wie er selbst sagt, seine erste Partyhöhle im Keller auf, wo er bis 2018 an vielen verschiedenen Genres, wie z.B. Drum and Bass, Progressiv House, Techhouse oder auch Psytrance ausprobierte.

Im Jahr 2018 entdeckte er dann Techno & Hardtechno für sich und wollte sich von nun an in diesem Genre richtig ausleben. Für Ihn selbst bedeutet Techno, das er seine Gefühle hinter den Decks mit elektronischen Klängen Ausdruck verleihen kann.  Jedes seiner Sets ist ein absolutes Unikat, weil seine Trackauswahl sorgfältig bedacht ist und dem ganzen eine gefühlvolle und treibende Art verleiht.

Montek (Granollers, Barcelona, 1985) descubrió la música electrónica a los 18 años, de la mano del movimiento ‘rave’ catalán. 

Sus primeras influencias llegaron del Drum’n’Bass, aunque pronto se adentró en el universo del Hardtechno y el Schranz.



Tras adquirir su primer equipo, comenzó a explorar en profundidad la mezcla y la producción, desarrollando un interés constante por cada detalle técnico y creativo. Su dedicación le llevó a formar parte del colectivo Skizofrenik, donde compartió experiencias con artistas de referencia como Necrodur, Mario Biani y Narkotic Dlux.



Con el tiempo, Montek se inclinó hacia un Schranz más duro, dinámico y personal. Ese estilo le abrió las puertas del colectivo Trauma (Madrid/Toledo) y posteriormente de la agencia 5 Minds Booking, con la que trabajó durante una larga etapa.



Después de tres años de intensa actividad, decidió centrarse en la creación de un sonido propio y diferenciado. 

Su constancia y esfuerzo por conseguir un sonido propio y característico pronto llamó la atención tanto de sellos internacionales, publicando en labels como Jason Mask, The Devils Rejects, Badbrains, GNOT, Ifactor, Elementz Records, Double Sense Records, entre otros.



A lo largo de su trayectoria ha compartido cabina con referentes internacionales como DJ Hammond, Acid Flux, Sandy Warez, Greg Notill, Frank Kvitta, Viper XXL, Waldhaus, Malke, Alex TB, Svetec, entre muchos más. 

Su música también lo ha llevado a actuar en escenarios y festivales de prestigio, entre ellos:
