For our tenth instalment, we are pleased to bring you a hard-hitting set from Yossef Chahid Díez AKA THE SLAUGHTER. The Spanish-Moroccan artist is currently based in London, but started DJing in 2013 while based in the north of Spain. The adventure began by playing in his home towns local clubs as well as organising illegal raves. During his initial years, his DJ sets were extremely influenced by the dark techno music and electro sound, becoming hard, darker and faster as the years have progressed. Year after year he has developed an exquisite music library securing his skill set as a music selector. In 2018 Díez took on the alias The Slaughter and started focusing on the  Hard genres of Dance Music. Industrial Hardcore quickly becomes his weapon of choice, amazed by the pure rage, forcefulness and obscurity of the sound. He went on to make his debut as The Slaughter for Jaded at Corsica Studios in October 2019. He then Founded Distortion Events, and with a consistent Podcast series will end up rocking the Underground scene in collaboration with other collectives from the other side of the Atlantic as well as collectives from Europe. In addition to this, he started a Sound Engineering and Music Production degree at the London College for Contemporary Music, in order to take his craft to an even higher level.

Montek_The Purge

Montek, nacido en Granollers ( Barcelona ) en el año 1985 ,
tubo su primer contacto con la musica electronica a los 18 años, a través del movimiento raver de cataluña. 
Alli se interesó por el Drum'n'bass en primera instancia, y más tarde por el  genero Hardtechno / Schranz.
Aproximadamente alcabo de un año consiguó comprarse su primer equipo y así fue adentrandose en este mundo, interesandose por todos sus matices ( Mezclas, Producción, etc..)
Su dedicación, le dio la oportunidad de formar parte del colectivo Skizofrenik, en el cual aprendió mucho dada la calidad de sus miembros ( Necrodur, Mario Biani- Narkotic Dlux ).

Más tarde Montek, fué mas allá y empezó a decantarse por un Schranz más duro, dinamico y diferente. Gracias a eso, mas tarde el colectivo Trauma ( Madrid / Toledo ) se fijaría  en él, invitándole así a formar parte de su proyecto.

Más tarde, fué miembro de la agencia 5 minds booking de la que formó parte una gran temporada,intentando hacer algo diferente .

Tras tres largos años, Montek se dedicó unicamente a crear un sonido propio, diferente y muy personal.
Dada la dedicación, sellos / labels de toda europa y sudamerica no tardan en interesarse por su sonido tan caracteristico, sacando sus creaciones en diferentes sellos como :JASON MASK, The devils rejects, Badbrains, GNOT, Ifactor, Elementz rec, Double sense records entre otros muchos.

A tenido oportunidad de compartir cabina con : Dj Hammond, Acid Flux,Sandy warez,Greg Notill,Frank Kvitta,Dl Lukas,Viper xxl,Obi, Eto & Gab, Malke,Waldhaus,Sepromatiq,Barbers,Emme,Golpe,Lexis, Instigator,Alex Tb,Zheta, Destruction derby,Svetec,Psychodrums, entre otros muchos.
