Always true to his sound, always digging through the roots of techno&house - Montero is a Spanish DJ settled in Berlin since 2014. More recently he co-runned a new series of parties in Berlin named “Gaex”, and is also affiliated to a newborn festival in north of Portugal called Basilar. 

Though Juan enjoys throwing events, he is mostly known for his in depth knowledge in music and his skills behind the turntables. Constantly surfing between sub genres, 

Montero’s set always become unpredictable and that is always welcomed in the club.

Bajo estas máximas, Montero ha captado la atención de la escena de la música electrónica y ha llevado sus discos a países como Reino Unido, Portugal, España y Ucrania, entre otros lugares de moda. Su devoción por la música es infinita, alimentada por la búsqueda en las tiendas de discos locales de Berlín, una ciudad que ha allanado el camino para cumplir sus sueños y ha albergado sus sets en la mayoría de sus mejores e infames clubes como Tresor.

Aquellos que lo vean actuar no solo notarán la diversidad en su selección de pistas, que cambia constantemente entre diferentes subgéneros de música electrónica, sino también su capacidad para leer a la multitud, tocando no solo lo que la gente quiere, sino lo que necesita. Su comprensión de cómo adaptar su música al entorno es lo que marca la diferencia, una habilidad que distingue a muchos disc-jockeys.
Aparte de pinchar, Montero se encuentra en la organización de noches de club de calidad en Berlín a través de su serie Gaex, la cual presentó a algunos de los mejores DJs de la escena.

En 2022 surgió un nuevo proyecto en lo más profundo del norte de Portugal, Basilar. Será una experiencia techno íntima con artistas underground de verdad. Juan ha estado organizando el line up del fin de semana y es parte de un gran equipo de entusiastas del techno.
