Well. What do you when you finally have some following after releasing your debut disco edits EP? There's only one answer: Make a Death Grips Disco Edits EP. 

I drove myself insane during this quarantine and Death Grips was the only music that made sense in this batshit crazy world. I made several disco edits for follow up but wasn't quite feeling happy with it. 

The world isn't happy enough. 

So I slapped some Death Grips acapella on top and it stuck hard. 
The Yin and the Yang. The Coffee and Oat Milk. The Mary-Kate and Ashley. 

No doubt: this is meme music, but I hope that this gives some sort of levity and light in this bottomless pit of a 2020 we're in. This is in dedication to Tommy L-D, who always showed me the best Death Grips memes. I hope you jam to this wherever you are bud.

- I Wrote the bassline, using the bassline provided

- Did the singing and writing thing that I do (Lyrics and meanings below text btw)

- and helped out with some of the arrangement. 

After all that, Dylan on the otherhand:
- Chopped the clav into smithereens,
- drums into disco
- Mixed my vocals
- and Replayed the clav part with Juno, Rhodes and Piano

SOME LYRIC NOTES AND CONCEPTS: 
- The concept is ambiguous but centers around everything feeling mix-matched and uneasy.

- "Plastic blue moon", is a play on a once in a blue moon (hardly ever) and (plastic, fake, it won't go away unless you deal with it yourself) 
,but then the character starts questioning themselves, 
(i.e. is it really so rare for this kind of thing? "have I spoken (decided) too soon?")

- Lines like “Walking on plasticine” suggest the character is struggling to cope with the reality of it all
- the “different beat” line is followed by an oh which is placed to match the lyric

- The bridge deliberately fumbles the phrases painted seas and waving trees showing they’re losing their mind a bit ,reminds you they may be in the wrong and there’s always two sides to story
