On the 13th episode of Lasya, we had a signature-style mix by host @klara_vedis, delivered to us in audio-only straight from Frankfurt. For the second hour, she has invited an artist coming from Leipzig - @kontinum, who contributed a live mix including only his original works. On this show, you could also hear the remix he did for Klara - The Desert Of Dream track, coming soon on Circular Limited. 

Guest Bio: 
Jonas, who grew up in the far north of Germany, moved to Leipzig after
20 years of wind and rain. There he was quickly inspired by the
prevailing sounds of the Institut fuer Zukunft and finally started the
Kontinum project in 2016 with a focus on atmospheric and dissociative
Techno. Over the years, the palette of sounds grew and now ranges from
ambient to deep techno to contemporary club-oriented techno.

In 2017, he founded the Nebula collective with a couple of friends and
started hosting the first illegal events. In the course of time, Nebula
has also found its way into the Leipzig club scene and is now an
integral part of it.

Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound
and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet,
Lowless and Circular Limited.

Since 2021, he has the privilege of being a resident at Institut fuer
Zukunft.

DJ and label owner Linny Hex’s hallmark as one of Sweden’s most frequent techno DJ’s is to flourish on the borderland of night club and underground parties. Recognized from supporting Swedish electronic music on Swedish national radio you might have crossed paths with her as she performed at Department festival, Into the Valley or Norberg Festival. Today Linny balances her dj career with managing her vinyl only label Kvalia Records, already known as having cementing its position in the deep techno scene by releasing records produced by the likes of Psyk, Anthony Linell, Exos and Blazej Malinowski.

We depend on connections. We love to meet people around, however from time to time there is a person who we will create a deeper connection with. Both on physical and mental level. 

CELLAR DOOR presents a little project of that aims to connect two souls on a spiritual journey. From time to time, there is going to be a mix that will result from a collaboration of two artists separated by heaps of miles. 

This month, we present LD HYPNO and BEN CYAN. 

Two artists, that share a lot of love for similar music and vibe, have managed to create a b2b experience, that has been created from the DEEP CONNECTION between them.

DEEP CONNECTIONS: LD HYPNO - BEN CYAN

This week’s mix is an impassioned and immersive journey so buckle up. The Colombia-native Zemög brings us a splendid set which embodies hypnotic accents complemented by deep and raw ornaments. Jose is a prolific producer, with recent outings on his own Tepuy imprint. His "Guayana EP" is out this Wednesday the 20th, be sure to check that one out, as well as a really fresh contribution on Claudio PRC's @012twelve label. His project is deeply inspired by mountain ecosystems and indigenous cultural and musical environments. An avid vinyl collector, he uses sound source modular synthesis, field recordings and aboriginal meditation instruments for his craft. 

Throughout this mix an interesting and breathless selection is pulling you into abstraction, so strap in, and sit tight for some hypnotherapy. Enjoy.

The Alchemical Theory project was born in 2018 from the creative union of three italian producers. The identity of the project has been very influenced by the favorite sounds of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic sounds to much more atmospheric elements. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. In each release they want to represent something that affects the listener's mind, reproducing a real mental journey.

Into The Abyss #027 | Cauê

Spending the first part of his musical journey playing local underground clubs and afters in southern Brazil,Cauê made himself a name first and foremost as a talented DJ in the brazilian underground scene. After moving to London he soon formed an unshakeable bond with vinyls and started his first steps into producing music, falling more and more deeply into his devotion to create transformative hypnotic journeys to alter states of mind. Fast-forward 10 years and he's making a solid name for himself in the local London scene, and has released his debut EP on none other than Affin Records, followed by releases on labels like Circular Limited and KVLTO records, presenting a sound with deep foundations and atmospheres with a great driving direct to the dance floor.

Into The Abyss #027 | Cauê

Very pleased to welcome the young, promising italian talent: Biocym. 

Currently based in Milan, the  producer/DJ is pushing his sound & style on various fronts thru releases on the beautiful Agos imprint (previously appearing on Circular Limited, Aarden Records, Secuencias Temporales..) and sets (Amulador, Porto)with an inspired, edgy-cutting vision.

This set is traversed by electronic-ambientish, -hypnotic, -dubby synth leads and pads — Elements all sustained by flashing, entrancing bass & rythms, as well as darkier influences. Cinematic in portions, smartly built with warmth, energetic and harmonious sounds, Biocym uses his technique to drive us into mellow, dancing states — yet leaves sonic spaces that leads us astray.. to a more intimate, darkier corner of a late night club vibe towards end of session. Somewhere between a summer mountain/forest festival & a City morning afterparty: Biocym's strength probably resides there, in that specific contrast, leaving his listeners "not quite sure of what just happened" (ofc subtly calculated by its author), yet wanting more. :-)

We have already read that his music was dark and cold. She is also beautiful and subtle. Over the years, the french producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong musical identity, always gaining in intensity and singularity, where sharp techno meets icy atmospheres of coldwave.

 Author of multiple EP on various labels (Bella Ursa Records, Chez KitoKat Records, DNC Limited, or his own label: Freestate Records), this DJ and Live musician make his shows into real trips, as dynamic as introspective. And his inspiration follows the same path: the self-introspection and the return to nature. The forest is its incubator of ideas, far from the noise of civilization.
