Assimilated is a DJ/producer from Tel aviv, Israel. Influenced by the most hypnotic and abstract sounds of Deep Techno and Psychedelic Trance, he started to develop his producer side in 2017.

He defines his style by long and reverberating pads, enveloping textures, minimal percussion and psychedelic sounds, combining saturated timbres, deep sound and atmospheric landscapes.

This mix features tracks by Kaspiann, Foreign Material, Luigi Tozzi, Petit Astronaute, Assimilated, Joachim Spieth, Vanta, Translate, The Alchemical Theory, and more.

For podcast #152 it is our biggest pleasure to bring you the talented and much-loved vinyl-aficionado, Mary Yuzovskaya (Monday Off, System Revival, Semantica).

We adore Mary in so many ways and for so many reasons.

Commanding a space within the deeper realms of techno with a natural grace and energy we can’t help but find ourselves drawn to, Mary has dedicated the past 14+ years to nurturing her love for electronic music as a DJ, producer, label owner and vinyl distribution manager. 

When it comes to DJ’ing, her memorable selections and technical skills shine through time and time again, while her productions are an essential for any deep techno lover.

Mary’s outputs, no matter what form they take, all radiate with her deeply rooted love for electronic music - a scene to which her contribution cannot be underestimated.

Her mix for On the 5th Day is a deep and uplifting ride delivered in a way that, as per usual, had us hooked from beginning to end.

His skill as a DJ derives from technical mixing 3 decks skills and Kaleidoscopic and Cavernous deep techno with hi-fidelity that take you on trip.
Acclaimed also as a producer, Ryogo Yamamori has established a platform of his sounds on 951beat and it has grown to feature some of his closest affiliates including Kan Shinomura, Hisaharu Sato,Skoll,Sinnertia,

Ryogo Yamamori has been involved in techno since the late 90’s. Since he has released tracks from respected labels, notably Josh Wink's label Ovum - Trinity EP, got charted in 58th on Beatport's Techno which made worldwide selling. Ryogo’s « Journey » was released from his label “951beat” and 40th with Resident Advisor and featured from DJ Mag, XLR8R, BBC RADIO1, Orb, Monument, After having collaborated in Detroit Movement's official compilation, he has received offers from Ovum, Secession, Human Lessons, Epione Records, Katharsis, Ovunqve, Machine to just name a few. MONUMENT 329 : RENA

Thought-provoking and stimulating, RENA stacks MNMT 329 with cerebral loops, hypnotizing drones, and lively percussion.

Separating herself as a DJ in an increasingly competitive industry, RENA leaped into the notable territory through persistent work ethic and cerebral curations. From Greece, RENA’s journey started locally - offering extensive experience to develop her technical and programming skills. Capitalizing on subgenres ranging from dub and deep techno, to driving and raw, RENA surfaces a variety of flavors within, oftentimes including arpeggio accents, emotion-invocation, and heavy atmospherics.

RENA carries her selective taste into MNMT 329, bringing listeners an array of hidden gems. With each track emphasizing an element of its own, some share driving “bleeps and bloops”, deep drones, and arpeggios to drive the hour forward.

RENA has been heard playing at acclaimed international venues alongside seasoned artists such as Oscar Mulero, Sebastian Mullaert, Dasha Rush, Len Faki, and Ben Sims. Currently, RENA is resident to the semi-weekly show on Cannibal Radio, “un\common route’.”

Vidění (Shaded Explorations | Circular Limited) began to experiment with mixing records at a very young age, attracted by the role of a DJ as a figure disseminating new sounds, an attitude that is shown in his current perception of music.

In constant search for sounds that have not yet been heard, he immerses himself in the infinite world of variants in electronic music, until he finds his current passion for mental, hypnotic, deep and ambient constructions.
His sound can be defined as an enormous ocean of textures directed by unconventional rhythmic structures in which light, darkness, tension, organic elements and an infinity of emotions coexist.

Young Italian dj & producer currently based in Barcelona, a very talented artist to keep an eye on him for the next years.

This month on Polegroup radio we have a podcast form Svarog.
The artictic name of Oleska Moroz, musician and dj from Lviv, Ukranie.
He has started his career in 2015 releasing music on labels like Circular Limited, Nachstrom Schallplatten, Affin Ltd., Black String Records as well as in Mexican label Illegal Alien, Animal farm or on Pole groups’ own Aine.

His sound is personal and unique, always focusing in dark but evocative textures, combining saturated timbres, industrial sound and atmospheric  landscapes, even broken rhythms.

It’s certainly no easy act juggling such a diverse range of musical projects, but Blazej Malinowski seems to carry it all off quite effortlessly. Aside from running his own ‘Why So Silent’ live performance venture and co-founding renowned events and radio collective ‘Funfte Strasse’, the Berlin-based artist is also a viciously sharp producer and DJ.

With releases on Semantica, The Gods Planet, and Phorma he showcases a sound that leans into the cinematic, moody verge of techno. This immersive approach has been carried through into his event series and solo performances. Switching between both live PA’s and DJ sets on his bookings, Blazej is an artist with depth and a fearlessness.

He has taken the time to record this exclusive mix for our DETECT series.

The 20th vurt podcast comes with a 62 minute set of Mod21, an electronic music/deep techno/experimental sound artist from Italy.
Mod21, which appeared in 2014 with the announcement of Ben's Wolves EP at the legendary deep label Prologue in Munich, Germany, has continued to work on representative labels of modern deep techno such as Semantica, Mental Modern, Edit Select Records, and his own imprint Mod21 which began in 2017. 
Mod21's music, created through analog-style sound design and unique rhythmic structure that experiments with various possibilities of techno, unfolds in a dark, slippery that seem to be born in the bowels of a parallel world to ours.
