Mython is a Berlin based Techno producer and DJ. His focus lies on the dark and heavy side of techno. Hypnotic patterns and hard hitting kick drums are at the core of his sound. His main goal is to capture the dirty and gritty underground vibes of Techno and push the sound towards the perfect symbiosis of melancholy and pure energy. In 2020 Mython founded ‘Out Rage Records’ to promote the sound he likes to play and hear. As Mython continues to evolve his sound to always stay ahead of the game, his tracks have been played all around the world by the biggest names in the industry.

Who better than DIAL stalwart Efdemin could wrap up the year on such a distinctly class-act type of note? Probably no one. He who’s become an absolute gem trader over the years through a string of epoch-making efforts, including the time-proof masterpiece that is “Decay” in 2014, drops by to grace us with a mesmeric Xmas tale by way of waving goodbye to 2022. Extruding elements of techno deepness out their usual cast to mingle them with that exploratory, jazz-inflected approach of his - subtly pairing the lingering beauty of stretched-out synths with that of free-flowing 4x4 grooves and haunting melodies, Efdemin entices us on a path of delectably focused and flavourful techno sensibility. An absolute pleasure and honour for us to round off 2022 in such good company.

Tirelessly pushing the boundaries of techno as we know it, the British don has been carving out his name in gold letters amongst the pantheon of DJs capable to evolve and transcend both themselves and their audience through the cathartic power of music. Always a step ahead, Bicknell treats us to two hours of resolutely immersive and achingly powerful soul-search, seamlessly criss-crossing our brains with his top-of-the-range anti-bullshit techno medicine. This next guest is part of a new generation of talent coming from Japan and slowly taking over the world. Cutting her teeth on the dancefloors of Tokyo, imus is a significant and perennial player on her local scene. She’s played at Keep Hush, contributed mixes to NTS Radio and delivered her mentally challenging techno to audiences at DJ Nobu’s Future Terror parties. At the end of 2023, she also launched eulb, an event series sitting at the ‘intersection of machine, band and dance that focuses on the aesthetic aspects of electronic and spiritual sounds’. Inspired by techno, bass and all things experimental, her work pulls heavily from her context at the centre of the Japanese sound, but pushes it further and develops something unique to her own experience. Her sets are large format trips into the strange realms of her mind-altering frequencies, sonorous and full-bodied ripples and beats that explore the fringes of dance music in all of its forms. This Dreamcatcher EDM x Psychedelic Mix Will Get You HYPED

- This is my first release, and with it, I want to share not just music, but an honest part of myself.
I didn’t follow any rules or stick to a specific genre while creating it—I simply let my thoughts, emotions, and sonic obsessions speak for themselves. Every sound here was crafted with the intention of gradually shaping what will become my sound, my identity.

This project is the first step on a path that’s just beginning. I know there’s still a lot to improve, but I also know that everything you hear here was made with passion, dedication, and a fully self-taught process.

More music will come this year, but this EP… this one is special.
