After our summer break we're back with a special episode from the amazing Scottish Dj and producer Deepbass.

The mix is an extract from his set during 'Art Bei Ton meets The Gods Planet' event at Suicide Club (July 10th 2022).
This recording very well represents the ideal expressions of hypnotic techno, managing to express energy and peacefulness through its bright and atmospheric tones.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland. His passion for electronic music started from a young age where he would spend his weekends in record stores hunting for music, he discovered artists like Speedy J and Jeff Mills who really opened his eyes to the world of techno.

He started producing music in 2008 and from there his sound evolved, always minimalistic, elements of ambient, hypnotic rhythms and deep rolling bassline's.

In 2010 he launched his label Informa Records as a platform to express himself and to explore further into his brand of deep techno.

Hydrous is the project of Norwegian Producer, DJ and live act Per Christian Berg. Having released on labels such as Navigare Audio, Charybdis, Soria Records, Space Textures, Fur:ther Sessions and more.

This live set was recorded at an OMG event in Oslo, September 2024. Containing live versions of both released and unreleased material, sprinkled with a touch of live-jams, I wish you an enriching journey.

Hailing from Tokyo, DJ MARIA. has been making waves with her finely engineered mixes and exquisite selections, as much as a few head-turning productions for the likes of Katharsis and Proxima. Close to the original 90s atmospheric techno vibe, her approach shares that taste for spaciousness and sense-awakening uplift, fitting in nicely in the tradition of dub techno whilst opening onto more ambient-oid detours and further leftfield-friendly electronics. Delving in the essence of techno as a tool for emancipation, her mixes traverse a wealth of landscapes and territories, never quite sitting cozy but roaming in search of new forms to embrace, new geometries to integrate. A musical language in constant motion, where expectations wash up against the beauty of revelation.

2024 has seen Ntogn playing all around the world at institutions such Vurt, Tresor, La Vallée Électrique and Modem Festival, plus releasing a very fresh EP ‘Alive’ released on his own Tome records. 

This year’s Midwinter mix features cinematic samples interspersed with his renowned hypnotic sound providing the ideal soundtrack to this weekend’s winter solstice.

Having met at Mostra in Barcelona, there was an immediate connection as we listened through a weekend of incredible music. His mix for this morning, comes as a welcome companion to the dreariness outside, through his use of warm, textured tracks and field recordings. Setting the tone before deftly diving into the deeper side of Ambient.

Few artists can match the influence that Enrique Mena, AKA Svreca, and his label Semantica have had on contemporary techno. With over 20 years in the DJ booth, 200-plus releases on the label and some acclaimed original productions and remixes, Svreca has spearheaded techno’s second generation, helping maintain Madrid as an international hub for deep and driving sounds. 

As a DJ, Svreca draws from a wide sonic palette that includes noise, dub, avant-garde electronics, electro and, of course, techno. First, it was luminaries like Angel Molina and Oscar Mulero that inspired him; since then he has made it his mission to survey the scene and connect with its most original artists. He funnels these influences into a powerful techno sound for body and mind: immersive, textural and rhythmically complex.
