even after all these years i am still coming back to this set.. so inspirational and also soo mood lifting.. when i feel bad or sad this selection of music always manages to help lift my mood

When they’re not lurking through the deepest corners of Bandcamp and Discogs, Distrikt—comprised of 宀 residents Jordy, Scott, and Justin—are undoubtedly making their mark in the city. In our opinion, they are Southeast Asia's newest aliens, sending signals across regional shores and bending the rules in their own way (as it should be!).

On their second-year anniversary night, they brought together a pairing of two familiar faces in the Asia region, both sharing a similar interest in running a record label, music with no boundaries, B-sides that could turn Hare Krishna into a bad boy, and finding witchcraft gems on YouTube.  
The results are in this recording—we’ll let the music speak for itself.

I’ve long been drawn to the deep, organic and electrifying techno of Japan–inextricably linked to open-air gatherings deep in the forest–so it was very special to play this set in the mystical woods of Nagano’s mountains.

I played after Japanese wizard OCCA @oooccaaa, from 11.30PM-2AM ~ descending into the night and far beyond ✧.*｡⋆

With both DJ'ing and production output alike, Mike's name has been popping up increasingly everywhere in the last couple of years, and his productions span from 4x4 trippy, groovy techno, to intricate & otherworldly half-speed gems. This mix comes amidst the beginning of his Australia tour :)
