The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound — the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.

Prg/M (Program) is one of the moniker of Pier Giuseppe Mariconda, musician and multimedia artist from the Southern Italy, already known as Subion and part of the project r²π with Retina.it and Ruhig.   Under the aka Subion he released the 12" "Eliogabalo" and other tracks on compilation or as remixes on Blackwater Label. PRG/M is his darker and mental soul which express in dark ambient sounds, immersive pads and subdued and deconstructed rhythmics. The sound he produces under this moniker has been released in last years on various EP and compilations on labels such as Concrete Records (Rome - IT) and Blackwater Label (London - UK). In January 2017 he released his new EP "Assioma Geometrico" on Spagiria, a new Eklero sublabel, with reworks of Ruhig, Hydrangea and kalos and in June he release, as 1/3 of r²π project, on Midgar records ͞The Library of Babel͟ a four tracks 12''

Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been alluring his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of different genres. Simply put, Alan’s fascination is a reflection of his passion for electronic music and inspiration he gets from the world around.
He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his exceptional sound.
Alan Backdrop released his debut album, VR Plan, in 2013 on Prologue, an album that includes some of his pioneering tracks, such as “Cherber,” “Medel,” and “Siere.” Shortly, he managed to create his second album, Eria, released in 2014 on Ekar Records, label and platform with which he has a long-lasting relationship and where he released a big part of his discography. He recently joined Mental Modern and Semantica Records where he kicked out some 12".
Alessio's side project is a_000, born from the unprompted come across of him and Enrico Rlt, which resulted in the creation of "Road to Nauta", the very first wax from Ekar Records and "Ness Reworks 001", a 12" containing two original tracks plus two remixes from the label founder and friend Ness.
In addition to spending most of the time in his studio, Alan Backdrop performs in various festivals—the latest in which he performed were Modem Festival and Parallel— and in different clubs and musical events. Fascinated by electronic music and concentrated in the realization of atmospheric musical journeys is the best way to describe Alan Backdrop.

Out of Place Records continues their series of high-delivery releases, this time on digital with the label's 8th release. It is an all-around banger with five tracks signed by young talent from Poland - Szmer. The tracks are ranging from underwater blasts and Detroit machinery to fast attack bouncers and grinders. Szmer cleverly combines raw techno elements with industrial noise and expanding chords capturing the essence of any club-oriented floor kickers. Dancers are going to dig this one!

Young Michał Aleksiewicz is a promising Poland producer and a DJ better known these days as Szmer. Walking the Techno path since 2011, he's been playing all around Poland and also well-known European temples like Tresor and Suicide Circus, although under The Effaith moniker. In almost ten years he managed to release numerous tracks under three different aliases which are mostly influenced by Planetary Assault Systems, Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, Zadig or Sterac aka Steve Rachmad.

"Geist" adorably resembles some of the older tracks by Robert Hood or Steve Rachmad. Detroit infused sequence is squeezing and expanding through a rolling beats and 909 percussions. Heavy cymbals and short breaks are tight and leave little room for pit stops in this relentless pounder.

At the border between tradition and pulsating desire for change, it was impossible to describe the Georgian Sonic soundscapes without finding its roots in the old winemaking tradition. There is no meal or reference without wine, just like there would not be this rising culture of artists without their thoughts for change, filled with the desire to bring a game-changing wind of change to the front of the scene, being musical or political.

devi finally reveals himself completely, the face of the wind of change which continues to blow over the red vines of Georgia.

Antidote returns to Northern Parallels with a follow up to his Theorem EP release. 'Endless Nights' provides three dance floor ready tracks demonstrating groovy, hypnotic, stripped-down beats.

The EP starts with 'Anxious', low-end heavy, broken beat backed with hypnotic vocals and a subtle synth line.

'Insomnia' is a great example why sometimes "less is more". Along with the last track 'Paralysis'. Both tracks are stripped down, yet groovy, mind-numbing and ideal for warming up or late night dance floor.

(re)constructions is a series of experiments with form and identity, rebuilding sound structures as to see what is reflected in their new (or old) arrangements. Much like the metaphor of the ship of Theseus, each construct poses the question - if an object has all of its components replaced anew, is it still the same object? Does one ever step twice into the same river, once all of its water has flown? Through alteration, the reorganized sonic structures of the following EP reveal their inherent forms and their metaphorical shadows.
