German deejay & producer Wice has provided us with the Series’ latest contribution. As he’s been spreading frequencies through tracks and sets for years, the man has honed his skills thoroughly. 

Production-wise this has led him to release on outlets like ‘Be As One’, ‘Wolfskuil, ‘Black Crow’ and his very own ‘Steinlach’. With the latter recently expanding into a multi-label effort it seems more goods are on their way, but for now definitely check his latest Ape Layers EP on there.

The 104th podcast Wice build for the series clearly draws from his experience in selecting and makes for a wonderfully built edition. Enjoy.

As both a DJ and producer, @refracted-music is coming into his own. The past year has seen him release the lush Through the Spirit Realm LP on @silent-season, secure slots on the summer festival circuit and hit the studio to work on a host of new productions, to be released on his own Mind Express label and elsewhere. His career has taken him from his hometown of Majorca to Berlin, a city which has allowed him to pursue music more actively and to carve out a space of his own within the techno scene.

Refracted took the headline shift at the September edition of Patterns of Perception, treating us to three hours of intense, intelligent techno which weaved masterfully between various tones, textures and emotions. To help us relive the night, we are happy to present an hour-long recording of his set.

Patterns of Perception 08 - Refracted

From Sweden, Sandra Mosh is the wonderful mind behind our first Northallsen Podcast. Sandra has been in the Swedish techno scene since 2008. Besides mixing underground dance music in Swedish national radio, she has played at the major clubs in Sweden and visited DJ booths overseas. She has played at prominent festivals like Sonár, KaZantip and Way out West, warmed up the floor for everyone from Marcel Fengler to Swedish house mafia and recently made her Boiler Room debut. The venues may vary from arena to underground club but the music is usually consistent – a sweet mix of deep and jacking house and techno.

On The 5th Day Podcast #057 - Viels

Here it is. An episode we've been looking forward to very much. The 31th recording is one by Danny Kreutzfeldt, aka PERISKOP. 

His roots lie deep in the 90's rave and industrial/experimental scene. In 2003, the Dane started Periskop, his only solo project mainly dealing with dark ambient and deep techno. Over the past 16 years he released on labels such as Hypnus/Kabalion, Affin and Iboga.

The set Periskop made for us interprets space as abyss, and explores both inner and outer depths. It consists of dark ambient, ritual music and bleak electronica from 1996 onwards.

Lost In Ether | Podcast #126 | Irakli

BIO:
Originally from Georgia, Irakli’s early descent into the German capital has seen him corner and develop a side of the local scene and turn it into something of an international fare. Five years ago he created STAUB, one of Berlin’s most celebrated techno parties. As a part of the production duo I/Y he has been releasing music under the synonymous co-founded label. But most of all, Irakli’s craft behind the decks has been weighed upon by the likeliest of Berlin’s underground venues, namely Tresor, Berghain and Griessmuehle, with his vision of electronic music taken further afield in Europe, and the Americas. In 2017 he founded the Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound with artists like Stanislav Tolkachev, Natalie Beridze, Rezo Glonti and many others.
Irakli also heads up a burgeoning convey diving into exploratory concepts of ambient, hued by the tones and colors of his homeland, Georgia. Adding orchestral collaborations and sound installations to a field of work outside of the club, Irakli’s expanding platforms and industrious connection to Berlin has seen his entry point into the scene now serve as an outlet into the more abstract, experimental realms of techno. With new endeavors afoot and a creative repertoire to boot, Irakli’s DJ sets, labels and parties always display unique qualities. It does not matter whether he is exploring beatless soundscapes or high energy techno music, Irakli always manages to create something special.
