DJ RUSH @ Forty Five (VOID)

Sven Väth (born 26 October 1964, Obertshausen, Germany) is a Frankfurt based DJ/Producer in the electronic music scene since 1981; playing for over 32 years and counting. His single, “Electrica Salsa” under the alias OFF launched his career in 1986. Lovingly referred to as “Papa Sven” by his fans, Sven Väth has made his mark in the music community by being one of Germany’s “pop stars” in the nineties, running two famous night clubs in Germany, and starting his own company Cocoon, that encompasses a booking agency, record label, and a branch for events. He is recognized for cultivating the underground electronic music scene not just in Germany but in Ibiza as well, with his own night at Amnesia for fourteen years and after-parties at creative locations around the island. Sven Väth is a major proponent of vinyl, using only two decks and a mixer for his extensive DJ sets, the longest he has been known to go for is 30 hours.

In addition to numerous collaborations with international artists he is busy with producing remixes (for Röyksopp & Hot Chip...), running his label FLASH Recordings and has successfully completed his BA studies at the London College of Music. He also writes articles about music production in magazines like “FutureMusic” and runs his own highly successful loops & sample label “Riemann Kollektion”. 2012 Florian released his debut Album WAVES and in 2013 he produced an expansion pack for Native Instruments MASCHINE. Just now he released Flash 100, a compilation to celebrate the 100th release on his Flash imprint.

Mike Humphries, born in London in 1963, began his career as a DJ in the 90s. 
In 1993 the club ''The Orbit'' let him play in his hometown Leeds for the first time. Two years later, he already registered his first international gigs. Looking back, worldwide bookings have been made to date, five own labels and numerous releases. After releases on Communique, Bush Records, Kickin Records, Nachtstromschallplatten, Naked Lunch and Dolma Records, Mike Humphries released at the beginning of May 2019 his new album "The Fall Of Everything". We have talked to the techno veteran about his music and his career.
