It’s a jungle out there and it was not always easy to find my way through. I have met many lost ones and almost went down the rabbit hole with them. There are many signals and it’s impossible to read them all, maybe i missed the most important one in early childhood. 

The day i lost my shadow changed everything my life, I became free from projection and expectation. It seems so simple now when i look back, but before this turning point I was on a speedway into the wrong direction and didn’t even know what was going on. Maybe the crucial moment was to understand that I needed to lose something instead of gaining it.

This version of the beautiful Gayatri mantra was recorded with talented friends while I was living in the incredibly musical town of San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico last September.  The act of singing this melody all together brought joy to our hearts.

The Gayatri mantra was written in India between 2500-3500 years ago.  The mantra is a declaration of appreciation, to both the nurturing sun and to the divine.

in Sanskrit:
Om bhūr bhuvaḥ suvaḥ
tatsaviturvareṇyaṃ
bhargo devasyadhīmahi
dhiyo yo naḥ prachodayāt

in English:
We meditate on the glory of the Creator
Who has created the universe
Who is worthy of worship
Who is the embodiment of knowledge and light
Who is the remover of all sin and ignorance
May he enlighten our intellect

Italian producer Populous makes his long awaited return to Wonderwheel with the first volume of his 2 part “Moonbaton” series - a collection of darker, instrumental reggaeton & moombahton cuts inspired by the zodiac, magic, and mystery of the universe. Things kick off with "Flauta Magica," focusing around the clave and a brooding synth line and a dembow style beat interweaving itself with the flute & a little bit of acid vibes for good measure.
