Johnl M. Jones was born in Chicago, Illinois. He begin rapping with a group called the Cityslickaz in 1996 but went solo in 2005. Moochy C is a artist that spits bars about real life. He doesn't do music to be a gimmick. He talks about his life and being truthful which means more to him then selling records lying or making things up for people to accept him. His track record is proven winning the T.C Hip Hop Awards first MPLS MAYOR award proved he was a force in Minnesota. His track record also is proven because he has worked with some of the major names in Minnesota (Slug of Atmosphere, P.O.S etc..)
 
Moochy C also worked with local record company but due to his reality based belief he couldn't see his self following people. Moochy C has become a hard working, and respected emcee in the Twin Cities. He has established himself as a confident and real songwriter. His lyrics have grown as he has grown into a wiser artist. He now see's his potential as well as knowing that his lyrics can reach more then the streets. Hip Hop better take notice cause there is a emcee who has more to talk about then the streets but has the street cred in the streets meaning he is the streets.
