This is episode 3 of the EdTech Odyssey Podcast. It's a rambling biographical take on my own experience of being educated by nuns, and thwe Christian Brothers in 1970's and 80's Ireland.

It covers a degree of brutality, narrowmindedness, and, well, the standard psychological low level toolkit for personalised damage many Brothers and Nuns deployed in the name of their idisyncratic educational missions.

It also covers empathy. Something my educators usually lacked, and something I learned to appreciate as a core value in designing education. They taught me well. Unfortunately, not by example.
