Moodmakers - Podcast april

Both musical journeys started very different until they got combined. 
    Peter’s touch to music came first around 2002, when he started mcing and producing hip-hop in a project named Demotape. 
Demotape’s view of their music was strictly underground old school beats and free. Some years after they started attending hip hop events, and making collaborations with other artists,  but never officially released because the moto was : ”No money, just hip hop”. Later on Peter saw himselsf in the techno rhythm and has stayed there eversince.

 Simon has the art in his hart. He finished a high school of applied arts and is now a graduate student of applied arts in the New Bulgarian University. Simon’s musical career started also around the beginning of the new milenium as a warm up act and a student of electronic djs around the Black sea. 

His love for the decks was so insuperable, that he still has his CDJ700 limited at home. When he went to Sofia he accidently met Peter, who was studying law there and their music matched perfectly so they decided to start the Moodmakers project.

They started making regular gigs in Sofia during winters and at the Black sea at beach bars, music venues, underground partys and more . Things were going well but they demanded more. 
   Some years after their upgraded set-up has let them play live, which took them to another level. They were invited to attend as headliners at the Underground festival, which is a free, very respected electronic festival at the Black sea and they met with the Sci fi family.

 Moodmakers started doing less gigs and more studio time, and last year they were part of the label’s night at the biggest festival in Bulgaria the “Spirit of burgas”

 Simon’s side of moodmakers is more groovy and wild, pretty much the best you could listen at a terrace, beach or during sunrise and Peete’s one is more raw techno sound. Both combined tend to make the most “moodmade” experience one could catch in a club.

Moodmakers' plans are to release their debut album “moodmade” for Sci Fi and start making regular festival appearances, witch in their words are the most suitable for their act.
