VirtuACA001 DJ Yirvin - Changa Fusion EP

During the years 2002 - 2007, DJ Yirvin created some of the most iconic and well known tracks of the Venezuelan scene. Songs like ‘Mételo Sácalo’, ‘Fuma Marihuana’, ‘Dale Culo al Waperó’, ‘Samba a los Conejos‘, ‘Pan con Mortadela‘, ‘Petarazo‘ and the iconic ‘Petare‘ anthem (these  last two dedicated to the biggest Barrio of Caracas) among many others, remain staple signature tracks of the scene to this day.

As his sound evolved throughout the years, he has explored many styles, such as Changa, Tuki, Raptor House, Hard Fusion, Tribal, Afro House and more. This CHANGA FUSION EP, explores some of the sounds he was working on between 2002 and 2007.

"Este mix es 100% sonidos frenéticos del sonido venezolano de los 90s. DJ Yayo publicó un EP con DJ Tony P. 'Musique / ...That Bass', donde se escuchan los primeros guiños del sonido electrónico venezolano influenciado por el Hard House de Underground Construction. En el 2000, comenzó a surgir un sonido más frenético liderado por jóvenes de los barrios, que se etiquetó de diversas maneras: Street House, Raptor House, Changa Tukky, Hard Fusion.

Este mix incluye música poco común, algunos originales y pistas de autores desconocidos, junto con una serie de pistas inéditas de mi propia producción.”
