moods is a band formed in 2011 in Montevideo (Uruguay), whose sound proposal is part of what can be defined as power-pop, respecting in its lyrics the original rock language . While its members have previously made other bands, Moods is composed mostly of former members of Lotus, a group that was active during the early 2000s. After a time, three former members of that training (voice, guitar and drums), decided  to return to a common musical path. Then the band joins the fourth member on bass, consolidating integration, with which, made his debut for the band, later that same year, in the room Arteatro.
In 2012, moods records a demo  composed by two songs ("In the end" and "Don’t let me go") while there is a need to add new information to expand the sound of the band, resulting in the incorporation of a new member to run keyboards and effects.
After a necessary period of assembly, due to the new formation, guide their work in order to get back into studios. So, in July 2013, the band records new songs that make up their first EP which was released in November.
During the second half of 2013 and throughout 2014, the band performs in places of Montevideo´s rock circuit, such as Paullier Y Guaná Bar, Bluzz Live and BJ Sala. The shows are also noted for having a major audiovisual proposal, It includes a live V.J.
In early 2015, moods, concentrates on recording a new album. The same, again in EP format, it will be called "Second" and will be released in June. The first single is "Into My Arms".
