Some might remember The Planty Herbs from his earlier 7” outing on RNT, and now the dynamic Dutchman brings his dusty vibes to a 4-track EP of crafty edit selections. “Famyly” kicks of the pack with a bouncy funk groove, followed by “Errybodydisco,” a low-slung house party affair. On the flip we have the flute solo and sample-heavy Soundstream-esque stomper “Today,” while “What’s Inside” takes us back to the soul side with a boom-bappity cover of a 70s R&B classic.

Born and raised in the musical melting pot of London with close links to UK neo-soul duo Jungle, it's no surprise that Mood Talk (AKA Jamie Lloyd-Taylor) has the ability to truly hook into and ignite the dancefloor. Championed by the likes of Annie Mac, The Blessed Madonna, Honey Dijon and Todd Edwards, his sonic fingerprint can be heard across various tracks from the Jungle catalogue including the 'DON'T PLAY'' from their highly anticipated fourth album 'VOLCANO' and the summer anthem ‘ROMEO’ feat. Cutting his teeth as a DJ in various clubs across the UK and overseas, Mood Talk cites influences ranging from genre-bending pioneers Bent to electronic giants The Chemical Brothers. Couple this with a love of rich caramel vocal stacks and funky French house a la Cassius and you have an output which can't be confined to one genre, yet is unmistakably Mood Talk in it's approach.
