We've known and admired Jonas for a while now as he steadily influences Munich's music and arts scene overs the years... Jonas is one of the organizers behind Sinstruct Festival and also performs as part of the group Carl Gari, as well as being a resident DJ at MMA Club. He is the founding member of KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE who released their first album in 1994. KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE made history as the only Japanese artists ever to have a single at No.1 on the BBC Radio ZUBB chart for 3 consecutive weeks with 'Eclipse' which was on their second album ’Spirit of the Sun’ 2002.  These albums made KJM one of the most influential groups in the crossover scene worldwide and Shuya has performed in over 40 countries and 140 cities. 

Shuya Okino is also the producer of The Room club, Shibuya, one of the most vital venues worldwide in supporting Club Jazz/Crossover music.
