From his early days at remote desert gatherings, to his constant touring of clubs and music festivals with world renowned downtempo sensation Desert Dwellers, his career has traversed many musical styles and genres. Blending world music with cutting-edge sound design, Amani Friend has amassed an enormous catalog between his projects Desert Dwellers, Liquid Bloom, and Variant Field. Traveling the international festival circuit and staying on the road with a jam-packed schedule, AMANI continues to bring his alchemy of ancient-future psychedelia to dance floors around the globe. Familiar faces from the Spearhead crew Bcee, Commix and Dexcell head up the bill with a stellar special guest who is soon TBA. Founder of the long-standing Inperspective label, Chris Inperspective, also joins the Spearhead family alongside Becky Saif and DJ Dazee.

MCs Ruthless, Visionobi, Texas and Seige complete the showcase, each of whom will undoubtedly take things up a notch throughout the night.

A bona-fide drum n’ bass veteran, Moody Moore is a well-known fixture in the DC drum and bass scene. Hailing from Colorado, Moody began her life as a DJ 18 years ago. Within the first year of her career, her talents graced the decks at illustrious East Coast clubs like Nation and Sonar. More recently, she's performed at U Street Music Hall and Flash. She’s opened club nights alongside The Crystal Method, DJ Rap, Pendulum, Donald Glaude, Lenzman, Alix Perez and many more. She’s also a regular on the summer festival circuit and has played at Burning Man in Nevada and Starscape in Baltimore.

In the 2000s, Moody formed the Bansheez, the first all-female drum n’ bass crew in DC.  Alongside DJs Inna K, Skandalus, Sylkey, and Jungle Jessi – the collective smashed crowds at raves, clubs, house parties, and much more. During this period, Moody’s talents were regularly on display at Alchemy / A.L.I.A.S. at Nation almost every week. She won multiple DJ contests at Nation, establishing herself quickly as a serious fixture in DC drum and bass. Most of the Bansheez still DJ regularly to this day. 

In the mid-2000s, Moody moved to California and promoted and played events in Los Angeles, and San Diego, CA. 

Currently, Moody is proud to announce the release of her own website: MoodyMoore.com. The site’s mobile-friendly, and showcases the latest gigs, mixes, blogs, and images from Moody’s DJing exploits around the world. She also hosts Attitude Adjustment, a radio show that features the amazing talent in the DC metro area. It broadcasts monthly on differentdrumz.co.uk.
