ROADS

As close as I can make, a copy of the Gary Numan Living Ornaments 80 Live version of Every Day I Die.

The track was originally released and sounded vastly different on Tubeway Army 1st album in 1978.

 It features on Numan's first tour in 1979, with Billy Currie providing, in typical Billy Currie style, the ARP Odyssey lead. Again, it's a different sounding version than the initial release and this 80 version. 

Roger Mason, an Australian musician who played with James Freud, found his way into Numan's live band through a failed Freud/Numan collaboration and became responsible for synths on his 80s tour, along with Numan's long time band - messers, Payne, Bell and Sharpley, and of course, the much missed Paul Gardiner. 

Mason confesses to being a Billy Currie fan and produces what I consider to be one of the best examples of a synth solo on the ARP Odyssey.
