Back with an absolutely stunning second volume for the Kingsway Library is Reske, whose first volume was one of our best selling releases of 2020. On his second offering he stretches his musical muscles further than ever, with haunting touches of acoustic pianos, guitars, bells, strings and light percussion floating around his awe-inspiring vocals.

Sophisticated and packed with a variety of moods and tempos, Reske manages to walk the tricky line between presenting a complete and fully formed musical idea, yet leaving enough space for collaboration. We are excited to share this collection from one of the most exciting up
and coming producers.

Lowkey Breathing

This week we bring you an exciting collaboration between our longtime contributor Mino (Roddy Rich, YBN Nahmir, Tory Lanez) and English composer/producer Benji Miller (Rejje Snow, BENEE, Julia Michaels, Aries). Together they weave between each other’s worlds, their versatility as instrumentalists on display using a Bechnestein upright piano, fender Rhodes, Roland TR-66, mellotron, moog model d, Juno 106, DX7, CS-60, all run through vintage guitar amps & mics, using analog and classic methods with a modern palette of influences.

The most unique collaborations are able to push beyond the limitations of each creator into new territory, and Mino and Benji play up each other’s strengths to the benefit of you, the listener.
