This is the recording from our 2x4 (that means 2 Moogonaughts, 4 decks, all at the same time) at the Monkey Wrench for the Gonzofest weekend. Gonzofest celebrates the work and life of a hometown hero - Hunter S. Thompson. 

We found that this mix, which consists of 3 and  4 track blends throughout - is a good reflection of our own gonzo-style - taking the best of house, its funk and sex, and layering it with the deep, creepy yet confident gestures of techno. 

You see, that's what the Moogonaughts do - create a blend of music that moves you in a way you have yet to experience, and often won't recognize, until it has you.

Every performance is 100% unplanned, and therefore - a true reflection of the moment.

Music is a journey, at least to these two worldly wanderers.
Based on the backgrounds of John Napier and Glenn Giles (G.F.G), you wouldn’t predict the two of them would get together in the studio to create a sound of their own, with such easy chemistry. 
Relentless drums and deep driving kicks permeate the realm of John Napier’s production style. Glenn believes that without some funk, why bother? 
Upon meeting in the summer of 2010 on the DJ circuit, John and Glenn quickly found that, indeed, their styles could mesh; a new sound was born. A fusion of house and techno, in its most natural form – with a twist that only these two experienced sound explorers could bring – makes it’s debut in 2011. 
What is a Moogonaught? Who cares? It’s magic.
