I Feel Strange in a Way by Michael A Smith

The Poem, Solitude, Michael A Smith wrote when he was 21 years old in the summer of 1998 in the Lake District on an Outward Bound course when  camping, Michael was  isolated from the world and had complete Solitude and was only allowed a pencil and paper a 2 carots, 2 potatoes 2 oxo cubes, 2 porridge sachets and his solitude which inspired him to  write his thoughts as poetry in the form  words on paper.  Michael spent 48 hrs with  no electronic devices to distract him which was pure heaven at the time a proper digital detox (digitox).
These lyrics are very relevant to our modern society and culture of today!
We have lost touch with being one with nature and finding our mental wealth from solitude and being and always being distracted by modern technology and digital addiction!

Michael is on an ongoing creative and musicial journey of self discovery and recovery since 1996, by creating art and music for self-therapy, and to help inspire others who are suffering in silence from drug addiction, mental health problems and symptoms as a coping mechanism in recovery!
In 1996, at the age of 19 years old and a relapse at 23 years old in 2000.  Michael suffered from drug addictions and drug induced pschosis and spent 10 weeks each time in rehab. 
They were the most traumatic experiences of his life as a young aspiring Independent artist, singer/songwriter-producer.

Michael A Smith is on a  mission to help fellow musicians and guide them to their own birthright of inner-peace, mental wellbeing by making and listening to music for self-therapy as coping mechanism to deal with any addiction.
