The Glitz are ready to start their journey towards the big “AXEN” album release in April, and they are starting it with a proper statement track. The first single “Dicktator” is a shot fired against the ambiguity of wealth, power and morality that seems to run through our societies. Western countries getting rich through selling weapons to war torn areas, then working against helping refugees who seek shelter. Politicians lying through their teeth in their hunt for more power. And it is just accepted. The irony of it all is poetically worded by the beautiful and fierce vocals of Fanny Winter, while Andreas and Daniel have created a monster of a song. A frenzy of groove, percussions and synths blend in the style of rough electronica. Like something you have never heard before, the track pushes forward, powerful and full of attitude. 

While the original is a masterpiece, the guys have also put their heads together to give us a version suited for the clubs. “Dicktator (Club Mix)” is as groovy as they come. Think beach house inspired but with a heavy hitting bassline, quirked synth elements and of course, the occasional vocal elements from the original. A bass heavy groove ride with smooth percussions perfectly suited for both those dark nights in the club as well as dusty afternoons on a festival dance floor. We are excited to see where this journey towards the new The Glitz album will take us. One thing is certain though, the first release hits the ground running and we know we are in for a treat!

Brazilian duo Solarce Brothers bring plenty of South American heat to a pair of brilliant new tunes on Moon Harbour. These are two superbly steamy house cuts from South American stars the Solarce Brothers.

At just 22 years old, Brazilian DJ/producer nocapz. has already built an impressive catalogue of releases on labels like Nervous Records, SOLOTOKO, and Organic Pieces. This year, a standout moment in his career came with the release of ‘Coming For Ya’ on Gruuv—a summer anthem that was heavily supported by industry heavyweights ANOTR and quickly became a dancefloor hit. Now, as the year winds down, he takes the next step in his journey with his label debut on Jamie Jones' Hot Creations, delivering the bass-fuelled four-track ‘More Love’ EP, which also features a collaboration with fellow Brazilian artist Marian (BR). “After a year with more than 10 releases, ‘More Love’ EP certainly is one of the works I'm most proud of.
The first three tracks of this EP were produced in one week, and every Jamie Jones support during his Paradise residency in Ibiza meant a lot to me. It felt like I was daydreaming. This four-track release represents nocapz. in its purest form as it brings to life all my influences of club culture through energetic basslines and classic rave synths. Kicking off with thick, pounding beats, ‘More Love’ features chopped vocals with a nostalgic vibe that seamlessly blend into a deep, bass-heavy groove. Keeping the momentum, ‘Getting Heard’ drives forward with quick, bouncy beats and heavy synths that build a wave of intensity to the dancefloor. ‘One Shot’ packs a punch with thumping kicks, keeping the EP's energy fierce and pushing the track to its peak intensity. Closing out, Marian joins on the seductive funk of ‘Midnight Thoughts,’ where smooth, intriguing rhythms flow around a glistening clank of vibrant percussion.nocapz. ‘More Love’ drops via Hot Creations on 20th December 2024.

Rafael and Mishell unite for the first time on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’—a three-track package dropping on 25th April, featuring collaborations with British-Persian DJ/producer Nariman and vocalist Eliza Legzdina. 

Hotly tipped DJ/producer Rafael has been making his mark on labels like DFTD, Realm, and Maccabi House, including his recent team-up with Sapian for his Collecting Dots debut, ‘What What’. Now, linking up with fellow countryman Mishell, fresh from ‘Cantina’ on Get Physical Music, and ‘Lightweight’ on Diynamic, whose psychedelic take on House and Indie Dance continues to fuel both his productions and his event brand, Mess. Together, they make their label debut on Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’, bringing a fresh burst of House energy as they blend their distinctive styles. 

“We came into the studio with no plans, no references—just good energy and a jam session that turned into something we’re really proud of. The idea was to blend tech-house grooves with big room vibes and a subtle ravey touch, and somehow… it just clicked. This EP marks a meaningful moment for us, not only because it’s our first time producing together, but also because throughout this process, we became really close friends. Releasing it on a label we both love and respect makes it even more special.” - Rafael / Mishell 

Rafael and Mishell open ‘Naughty’ with ‘Naaa’, where a punchy kick drum leads the way, building the groove with sharp stabs and twisting percussion. The energy shifts as ‘Naughty’ takes over, blending a menacing edge with a dynamic flow, as techy elements cut through a gritty bassline and warped snippets take you on a trip. To close, Rafael calls up Nariman—who has graced iconic venues like London’s Fabric, Brooklyn Mirage, and Glastonbury Festival—for ‘Another Dimension’, where a fusion of attitude, rich sonics, and energy meet, while Eliza Legzdina’s smooth vocals flow seamlessly throughout.
