How can one musically capture the spirit of Ibiza? For decades now, countless amount of feet have been shifting weight to the sounds of monstrous sound systems and legendary DJs. Throughout the years, the island serves as the ultimate clubbing asylum: a place where electronic music defines culture and not the other way around.
Being a dominant player on the island and taking a lead role in shaping its musical development, Deeperfect is proud to present its annual, modest musical interpretation of Ibiza in a 22 tracks compilation, carefully selected by label talent Elio Riso. Within this collection, 6 tracks were selected from the label's recent work to represent the sound of Ibiza. 16 more are completely new, designed and produced specifically for this project. All tracks remain faithful to Deeperfect's unique sound: pounding Tech-House with crisp drums, decisive synths and tribal elements.
The last and 23rd piece of this puzzle is a powerful blend of all other 22 pieces: a continuous mix of all tracks by Elio Riso, demonstrating the application of these wonderful works on any dance floor, allowing the listeners soul a quick visit to Ibiza any time they are in need of an asylum.

Our Florentine brother, Leonardo Gonnelli has been a tear this year dropping a bunch of standout releases on Deeperfect. And, we have great news; he is back! This time he pairs up with Parisian DJ and producer The Mekanism. This is a guy with serious underground house roots, who is gifted at creating effortlessly cool music that works on many different dancefloors. Releasing on well respected labels such as Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It, Needwant, Moon Harbour and 2020 Vision to name a few. We are sure you are going to love this stellar collaboration between these two industry heavyweights. 
The lead track here is a lush, club focused house jam with a minimal touch. ‘About Us’ gets down to business with a stripped back, yet energetic beat that rides over a warm, pumping sub groove. The track remains underground and loopy, using the slick vocal phrasing and catchy acidic synth riff to drive the energy and build an enveloping, hedonistic vibe. 
On ‘Lies’ the guys delve into rougher territory, with chunky tech beats and tough acid riffs bringing the power for the peak time floors. Building synths create tension as the lush vocals add a warmth and texture above the squelch of the main acid lines. They have taken a more heads down approach on this track and have created a serious dancefloor weapon that will dominate clubs and take no prisoners in the coming months!

Opening the EP, ‘Stand Up’ sees Aurel engage regimented and authoritative percussion, rolling basslines and
up-front vocal samples, whilst the energetic ‘Ghettoblaster’ combines choppy drum shots with more organic
tones, snaking grooves and further infectious vocal hooks throughout. Last up, title cut ‘Change The Cycle’
rounds our proceedings as rumbling low end tones go to work amongst raw snare licks and bumping sub bass,
shaping up an impressive debut offering from MÜSE.

Since 2003 Great Stuff Recordings is firmly rooted in the underground house and techno universe and has helped countless artist careers develop over the years. In 2018 the label has decided to put even more effort into finding new talents and provide them with a strong musical platform. Therefor Great Stuff Recordings has launched a new sister label named Great Stuff Talents!

For release number ten Marco C., Tomi&Kesh set the tone with two chunky tech house tracks. “Play It” & “Fast Forward” are both geared toward the peak time sets,with slamming grooves and precise drums. Their heavy vibe will do wonders on the dancefloor!

The Italian electronic scene has been bubbling lately with some incredible talent and none more so than Turin based Luigi Rocca. We’re pleased to welcome him to Etiquette this month with his debut single ‘Careless’ featuring Materianera. The self-made producer, 303Lovers label boss and global DJ has forged a successful career circumnavigating the globe performing at some of the world’s most renowned and best-loved parties. ‘Careless’ is the perfect heady House groove fueled by rolling percussion, soothing vocals and a playful bassline whilst resonant synth licks and shuffling snares ebb and flow throughout, making it a seamless track for the dancefloor.

Rising UK talent Ben Sterling returns to Hot Creations with the Fantasee EP, a
stunning three track release that features a remix from house heavyweight
Jansons.

Title track Fantasee is a rolling house cut, with an infectious vocal and subtle
percussion that merges with driving pads to form a track that harks back to the early
days of house music. The Jansons’ remix comes next. Warm synths fuse with an
energy-fuelled “come on” lyric, whilst the tempo of the track rustles along quickly.
Following in a similar vein to Fantasee, second original track Melania Please rounds off
the EP where whispering vocals give way to a powerful kick drum, as a delicate bleep
chimes in the background to create another pumping house record.

Ben Sterling is quickly becoming a respected artist in the house music sphere. Named
as Danny Howard’s first Future Fire guest of the year on BBC Radio 1 in 2019, the
young star is influenced by his family’s 70-80s disco collection, modern electro, plus
Chicago house and Detroit techno. At just 18, his residency for Rulin’ at London’s
Ministry of Sound marked him out as one to watch. Jansons is no stranger to the
scene. Having remixed various records of Hot Creations mainstay Richy Ahmed, his
keen eye for production has lead him to release on Four Thirty Two and Knee Deep in
Sound.
