Moon Moth are a 4-piece alternative pop-rock band from Oxford combining aggressive rhythmic pop guitar and bass lines with hard driven percussion and vocal hooks.

The backbone of the band is in the song writing, with ‘to the point’ songs reminiscent of the later part of the Red Hot Chili Peppers with catchy melody hooks. Interestingly Moon Moth draw a post-punk edge to the band through the aggressive drum section. Although they were formed in early 2011, Moon Moth are already lining up a number of gigs in and around Oxford and will be looking to release their debut EP later in the year.
