Big Ups to https://soundcloud.com/saffiredsoul for offering the opportunity to create something new based on those outstanding vocals. Always loved the dillaXerykah chune.  I decided to move away from the infamous tarika blue sample and played all the instruments on my own. No samples included!

I made 2 versions, this being the more analog instrument driven. The more electronic instrument based with different harmonics will follow sometime soon.

Saffire D`Soul - Didn`t Cha Know (moon_at rmx 1/2)

I have always been a big fan of the so called golden era of Hip Hop and thought the gravity lp has been one of the best. Respect where respect is due and it surely is due here. 

I had several versions of a remix and none seemed to be appropiate in order to cope with the sheer mastership of the original,. Finally i cam up with the horn line that seems to fit - in my eyes - perfectly and can justify the publishing of this work.

Hope you can enjoy those rhymes (and the music) as much as i do!

This is a rmx of the roots remix version of the walkin`large classic track listen to this. Its been one of the very few crews makin hiphop with with english vocals out of germany that sounded real. Respect to Ono being of south african descent breathing life into those chunes and collaborating with the roots even before their first mainstream hit. he probably got hit by the grits and mellow my man just like me back then.
