Roman Kouder had a busy couple of years. Originally composing with Crayon, his solo productions have now scanned over a million plays during the last year along with healthy iTunes chart placings. His production skills were also in demand from other artists along with soundtrack work and sees him concentrating on a new series of EPs.  Never more at ease than behind the decks, he plays out regularly and now hosts his own regular nights in Paris.

Moon Boots x Hard Candy: Liftoff Mixtape

Growing up in Australia we were used to some sweltering hot summers, with the kind of days where you couldn’t do anything other than lay in front of a fan listening to music. Nostalgia is a hard thing to define but its a feeling that has always been present in the music we like.

We wanted to recreate that feeling of nostalgia through this mixtape series.   An innocence if you will.

We only start these mixtapes when the inspiration strikes every few years, which coincidentally has been while we are at home over the summer in Australia.  These mixes are judgement free, and full of some of my mildly guilty pleasures
