After dancing, laughing and sharing music with Sonia for years she realized her true spot on stage last year. After a few short moments of b2bs at my place in Berlin and her recent birthday party - we FINALLY - managed to play together this slow deep style that we both like publicly last month (twice!). The legend of South America's music is one of vibrant rhythms, passionate melodies, and diverse cultural influences. It's is a celebration of life. The music is also shaped by its indigenous roots, with traditional instruments like the charango, quena, and bombo adding unique textures to it. 
It is said that the music originated from the indigenous people of the Andes, who used it as a way to express their culture and traditions. The legend goes that the music was inspired by the natural sounds of the Andean landscape, including the wind, the rain, and the flowing rivers.

One of the most famous Andean instruments is the pan flute, which is said to have been created by the god Wiracocha. According to legend, Wiracocha made the first pan flute out of the bones of his dead children, and the music that came from it was so beautiful that it could bring the dead back to life.

Today, Andean music is still celebrated and enjoyed throughout South America and beyond. Its haunting melodies and intricate rhythms continue to captivate listeners and serve as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage of the Andean people. Especially because the music continues to thrive, with new generations of artists blending traditional sounds with modern influences to create exciting new styles. Welcome to Folktronica / Electrocumbia.

Landing back in Germany, my heart and spirit are asking directly again for South and Central America. So I felt I have to share the beautiful vibe of the music which inspired me a lot while traveling through so many countries. It's a beautiful downtempo journey which I hope will sweeten up your upcoming summer! Enjoy the sun on your skin, move your hips or just relax in your hammock, drinking a fresh coconut, smelling the unique copal or palo santo - a reminder for the magnificent • leyenda • of these sacred lands.

She truly is a star on the rise and now after just a few months behind the Decks she delivers us this super Dreamy masterpiece.

This mix just comes over us like a warm autumn blanket and takes us on a dreamy journey through many worlds and dimensions. 
Moonie makes the transitions between the tracks sooo skillfully that it is truly like when we dream and jump from one dream to the next, thinking we are still dreaming the same one dream. What makes me most happy is when Im doing an Ecstatic Dance and I can share my music and energy to other souls<3

My journey started up North in Sweden. Whispers and inspiration from the mountains and deep forests. With a good spirit teacher and my strong love for all kind of Organic, Tribal, Shamanic, Ethnic, Psy and Tech sounds it become natural for me to start mix. Celebrations and forest raves was a beginning.

After a while I discovered Ecstatic Dance and I found my key in life!! This is how I wanna share my music!
Since then I have travelled in Central of America and around Sweden to get more inspiration and experience. Met many other good djs,  danced in the view of Vulcanos, in the Jungle, stepped out of my comfort zone, cried and felt love.. I was healing and I started to become free! 

I hope you will enjoy and can feel my energy to transcend and go beyond<3
