After fifteen years of incessant and persistent work and performances in clubs all over Spain, Pushmann has become one of Spain’s top DJs and producers - whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind, body and soul.

Pushmann produces a Detroit-like sound with clear and strong influences from the European musical culture, such as Berlin and Birmingham’s. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre, his purest style, he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener to take him to a higher level: power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. 

Pushmann pays special attention and taste for metallic percussion and cavernous steel drums well placed in front of everything, almost warlike. EPM Podcast 159 is a totally upfront new techno mix from Token Records’ head man, Kr!z. After making a name for himself as a skilled DJ with sharp focus and a quick mixing style in home country Belgium and the Netherlands, Kr!z launched Token Records in 2007. It has since been a leading outlet for heady, purist sounds. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value with a timeless and powerful sound and took it around the world with label nights on every continent. Token remains important in defining techno today - always straightforward, sometimes weird, often catchy – all under the helm of Kr!z as avid A&R.

After 12 years spent assiduously focused on curating the Token discography, showcasing artists he has nurtured and supported over this time, and incorporating the connoisseur’s knowledge and experience he has cultivated in his work as a DJ, 2019 saw the release of his long-awaited debut EP on Token. ‘Mantra’ received high acclaim by both media and the scene's key DJ’s. This continued in 2020, when he released the track ‘Scorpion’s Tail’ on Voltage Imprint and ‘Malice’ & ‘Imperative Needs’ as part of a split EP with Pfirter on his MindTrip label. 2022 will be his most prolific year to date with three full EPs seeing the light of day: ‘Neutrino EP’ on James Ruskin’s Blueprint Records, ‘The Tunnel’ on Setaoc Mass’ hotshot SK_eleven and a third one on his own Token Records.

Kr!z’s new EP ‘Atlantis’ is released 25 November on Token.

Dirty Epic welcomes @tensal for it's fiftieth episode of Amplify Series. 

Tensal is the name of the solo project that Héctor Sandoval (50% of Exium, Komatssu, Selección Natural) has created to accommodate his more cyclical and modern vision of Techno in which he combines different rhythms and textures.
After a good handful of works released on his own label, he has released on some of the best Techno labels as Mord, Modularz, Arcing Seas, Polegroup (of which he is a founding member), Float, Kynant, A.R.T.S, Cabrera or Soma, where he released his first LP in 2018.
He has also collaborated on a multitude of remixes with artists such as Slam, Electric Indigo, Envoy, Umwelt, Mike Parker, Pangaea, Amotik, Pessimist or Shifted, among others.
His works have received the unanimous support of the scene and his tracks are play by DJs like Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Marcel Dettman, Ben Klock, Ellen Allien, L. Garnier, Dubfire, Seth Troxler or DVS1 who are regular consumers of his tracks.

In his appearances as a DJ, Tensal explores all facets of techno based on alternating different textures and intensities that are mainly nourished by his own material which has led him to perform in more than 60 countries in different parts of the world, from South America, to Japan, through the US, China, Georgia, Turkey, Korea or Russia, and of course Europe, where he is a regular in the booths of Germany, France, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
In 2020 he created the project Komando Terrorismo Sonico (K.T.S) together with Juan Rico (Reeko, Architectural) in which they explore the limits of Acid techno and Breakbeat. The first studio album of the duo, called "Insurrección" was released by Tensal Ltd recs in spring 2021.

In February 2022, the latest project by Héctor Sandoval called "Syndromania" will be launched, debuting on Hector Oaks' label, with "Sacrilegio". This is a project created to investigate the fusion of the most contemporary Techno with some of its most popular genres of the last decades such as Techno-Trance, EBM, Electro, Acid or Chicago House.

In the 46th episode of Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host PWCCA.

PWCCA aka Dr Cyanide, born in Madrid on April 26, 1979.
He started in the world of electronic music in 1995, he took his first contact with some dishes in a pub located in his area, driven by a friend who worked in it.
Firstly, he showed progressive and house sounds, but not take long to opt for more underground trends, influenced by large techno producers such as James Ruskin, Richard Polson, Christian Wünsch, Portion reform,Regis or Surgeon among others.
In 1996 and is interested in how to produce electronic music using software and hardware, creating his first beats with a Roland TR 606 and the software for rhythms "Hammer"
In 1998 he was selected from over 600 applicants to represent Madrid in the first national championship of amateur djs organized by the magazine Deejay, held at the legendary venue Disco 8 Barcelona, obtaining a fifth appreciated.
From that year until 2000, he works as a DJ in various clubs around the city and also gaining experience as a producer.
That same year put into operation with another partner, the only franchise from the famous brand Phrenetic Society, owned by acclaimed dj/producer Cristian Varela, where he taught in school and teacher in production Dj midi / audio, adding to these activities, the sale of music and clothes.
This is when he decided to create with his partner, his own record label, called Hardtools, giving life vinyl two references to the brand. (Evidence and Unkonwn Ep.)
Totally immersed in the world of musical creation collaborates with a softer sound, the fourth reference published Cristian Varela in his signet Donkeyhead recordings "big along the genre, such as Gayle San and Cristian own, that's when it's invited and interviewed the famous radio program led by Luis Varela, Phrenetic Power Music, issued at night on the station known Tango and Cash.
During the two-year duration of the open franchise (it is closed for reasons beyond his control in 2002) was invited to several festivals of great significance, as the first casting Phrenetic held in the Villalba´s cathedral techno , the great Van-Vas, adding to this many raves organized in the community of Madrid where Birmingham is reflected as his labeling style.
In 2005 lost contact with the technics, leaving only time to assimilate knowledge as a producer.
Currently it has returned to give life to his label Hardtools, this time digitally, also adding the creation of two other brands for the same function, Basic Form and UK Executes.

The Spanish Underground electronic scene would not be the same without Jotón, a respected DJ and producer who has been dignifying his profession and designing unconventional sounds for more than 20 years. From his studio in the city of León, he has managed to create his own style based on the most orthodox Techno which has been imitated by artists from all over the world. He is also the founder of the label Newrhythmic, with which he has supported national and international artists for more than 2 decades.

Joton is a tireless and prolific creator. His work has been published by labels as important as Fabric, Modularz, Quartz, Odd Even, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection or Skryptöm. Furthermore, his work has been played by artists such as Ben Klock, Dvs1, Rodhad, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Truncate or Go Hiyama.

In 2015 he released his first album ‘Casting Out Nines’, a work that received excellent reviews from the specialized press and conquered Techno lovers. ‘Casting Out Nines’ was undoubtedly one of the best albums of that year and moreover, it was presented in 10 countries in 3 different continents.

2017 saw the release of his second major project, ‘R3silient’, in which Jotón delved into his purest and most analogue side, and thanks to which returned to the roots of Techno. In 2018 he releases two new works, `Antioquia ́ on German label ODD EVEN and `Extreme Mesures ́ on RAW RAW.

Jotón complements his DJ/Producer facet with teaching. His Production Courses are interactive experiences in which the student gets to perfect his technique and shape his sound. His latest album `Hikikomori ́ was born from these courses in 2021. `Hikikomori ́ could be defined as a collaborative work with students and friends that narrates the experience of isolation produced by the pandemic.

Jotón has been a protagonist in the booths of some of the best clubs in the world. MoonLET presents Soul Lazh Live in Gare (PT) for the Phase CTV X Purveyance Showcase. A live performance based on drum machines, synthesizers, effects pedals and distortions. Dynamic and forceful techno, loaded with powerful synthesized sequences, hypnotic melodies and enveloping atmospheres.  

Soul Lazh is Blach's most ambitious project, a classic in the Galician scene, reinvented after pandemic in live format. Founder of Purveyance Records and Events, we delve deeper with him about the evolution of their project and a cycle of success in this Q&A: 

-With your long trajectory, how did you become interested in live acts? When have you decided to take this challenge? 

.One of the best feelings as a performer is connecting and making the audience dance but doing it with my music and being able to express my own vision at that moment takes that feeling to another dimension. 
My interest began with J.Miguez, with whom I started in the production and live performances world. Getting a configuration suitable for my needs was what took me longer, passing many synthesizers through my hands for many years.  
The pandemic gave me time to finish the machinery selection, with its learning and control process, deep knowledge and many courses. The clubs closed gave way to countless streamings, in addition to DJ sets, I performed several live online shows, which eased that newness for me. 
All of this, with many hours locked in my bunker, gave rise to Soul Lazh! 

-As an old-school advocate, your mission is to revolutionize the dance floors with your sound. How did you encounter the night in Gare?  

.Putting myself at the helm of the club that has given us so many good moments, named by great artists as one of the best in Europe, with that sound system by the aid of Phase Ctv, accompanied by artists with a prominent future and with friends on the dance floor made my visit a special one. 

-Which other has been memorable? 

.For their good work, great audience and treatment received, my first real performance at Cassete Club; together with Gare and Purveyance Day&Night at Apostol, unforgettable. 

-There’s general disagreement with the situation on today's dance floors, while you and your team have charted your course, Purveyance Community, a dedicated local scene with regular events, collabs, production masterclasses... What’s the prosperous secret? 

.Select artists based solely on their musical discourse and our criteria, respect artists and audiences alike. Offering different proposals while taking care of the details. Having committed and knowledgeable artists, and meeting such good people with similar ideas helped us achieve this.  
Our project is maintained thanks to all parties, and for us, the main driving force is the public, without everyone this wouldn't be possible.     
Despite the trends, I think we are in a good moment. We found an energy on the dancefloor I haven’t noticed in a long time. We hope a long life delivering quality techno in Santiago, while working on something bigger... 
Purveyance turns two years old this month, celebrating it next 23/12 with Falling Ethics's boss P.E.A.R.L., Anxiety for Living, Ultravioleta, and myself. 
 
-Nowadays, with technology so advanced, anyone can be producer and use presets. What are your essentials? Some advice to someone who wants to follow your steps? 

.Clearly, the machines management. I spend hours making patterns, looking for new sounds and creating sequences. It can take weeks to turn on my computer to record and edit a track. As advice: find a setup you feel comfortable with, lots of practice,courses...  Also, you will find good colleagues in gadgets world willing to help you.

Once again, we pay tribute to our artists on stage with Drop-E recorded set blowing up the opening of Prisma the 23/24 season, although with the bitterness that the club setting for this mix, does not have the same fate. In November, Prisma was forced to close its doors and unfortunately is going through a difficult situation.

We show this memorable Drop-E present and his emotional words dedicated to the collective that accompanied the artist's growth since 2016, hosting him on countless occasions along with great national and international artists, contributing to establishing his reputation and nurturing his artistic recognition in the city of Seville, accompanied by open-minded visionaries, and regulars of the most underground and avant-garde Andalusian scene.

"I want to express what I feel about the closing of Prisma with my last mix and these worthy words of gratitude for their effort and work offering a well-deserved electronic scene at the highest level all these years, since its beginnings and successive, including the warriors who have fought until now. Many thanks to everything that makes up Prisma, to the entire team, its promoters, to the great cast of local artists and to so many friends around the club, and to my followers and to the true fans of the techno genre itself, my words are also for you.

Thanks for allowing me to expose my vision of techno to the public and treat me with all the affection that can be received, especially to Elio, Ubertek, Ricardo, Faliki, Abraham, Ogre, Sergio, Nadia, Jose Pablo, Alex... I can´t name them all, but I want to say: I love you guys so much!" Drop-E.

The set is a powerful commemoration of what Prisma means, a creative space for exchanging knowledge and cultural renewal, advanced, diverse, intense, a pure bomb of rhythms that will make you feel the power and freedom that sound experiences through an impressive turbosound.

From our hearts, we send not only these honorary words, we want to convey our support, and a message of hope so that the rare bird of the south can gather the resources to operate again and continue cultivating club culture, values, life experiences, and relations.

▸ Drop-E label boss of Signal is a DJ and techno producer from southern Spain, already well known for his releases on such labels as AINE (PoleGroup), Edit Select, Signal Rec, Modularz, Emphatic, Inducted Waves among others.

His style is quite peculiar and characteristic, moving between mostly abstract and very gloomy sounds, repetitive and tireless loops; atonal sequences where the presence of bass is noticeable from beginning to end. Obsessive and direct sequences to the central nervous system, hypnotism and depression joined hand in hand, falling in sharp frequencies and a constantly evolving structure make the perfect recipe for the dance floor where it is easy to end up out of control in a thrilling trip with no return ticket, not suitable for all audiences.

Drop-E brings us subbass heavy synthesized mess, obsesive compulsive sequences, sharpened hi-frequencies and a constantly evolving structure make the recipe. The tracks feels almost out of control, but this is a ride so thrilling you will never want to get off!
