Miembro fundador del sello SRIE Records donde aporta sus producciones y conocimientos de mastering desde 2013 y DJ desde 2009 en Buenos Aires, Joel Pulso desafía las estructuras instaladas en el marco musical desde que su estilo se embarcó hacia los sonidos mas definitivos, experimentales, análogos e hipnóticos, desarrollando una impronta única, basada en el minimalismo y el método collage por medio de grabaciones caseras.

Su proyecto y foco musical deja en evidencia el objetivo de sumergir al oyente en su campo semántico, yendo desde lo psíquico y cerebral, hasta lo mas sci-fi de pista mediante sus producciones y sesiones.

Pulso forma parte de la gran escena argentina dejando legados musicales en sellos de renombre como Subsist, Semantica, Float, Antiterra, Mindtrip, KEY Vinyl y en su propia firma SRIE, donde en cada release junto a Translate, entregan música de calidad y concepto, dando lugar a los mejores artistas que oscilan dentro del marco de su sonido.

Desde fines del 2022 nace una nueva etiqueta que se dedica a la manufacturación de cassettes y CDs llamada "Histéresis" donde, junto a su colega Uma Soundsystem, Pulso realiza el puesto de mastering (Digital y Cassette) y material gráfico para cada edición, las cuales se producen de forma casera y manual y se entregan a todo el mundo; dichas ediciones se pueden encontrar en su Bandcamp oficial (/Pulsojoel) y en la cuenta oficial de Histéresis.

En paralelo a su música y su estilo minimalista de trabajo, Joel Pulso desarrolla artes de tapa bajo el nombre de Fractales DIY, anteriormente editorial de fanzines y libros artesanales, hoy en día fábrica que escupe los collages analógicos mas crudos y surrealistas que forman parte del catálogo que define a su visión como artista.

John was born in Toledo but he is currently based in Barcelona. Having started as Korben Nice in 2012, he developed the aim of evolving over the years and established its own sounds within the styles of electronic music. He stands out for the diversity, harmonic, atmospheric, electronic, techno, hard-techno or ambient of the styles that define him.

He has collaborated with several big names in the scene, released at quite a few most notorious labels and his performances have sounded in both national and international well known locations.

He has now crafted an exclusive set for us that certainly defines our philosophy.

The tenth chapter completes 'The Composers' at the end of the year, with an impressive psychedelic outbreak that categorically illustrates the meaning of our being.

The piece is an authentic enthralling sail to the underworld, propelled highlighting beyond what you've heard massively, or what you could expect.

Giri manipulates our path through the controlled chaos. Harmonious introduction, triggering a hesitated sensorial development, static beats play gradually, while hypnotic percussion crafts between atmospheric loops and synthesized vocals in an intense abduction way.

Extensive drums, roaring kicks, and bass continuously surrounded by echoing voices like resonant spells strike among abstract effects, while a lasting swift rhythm advances. 

"For any conceivable purpose, designed and fabricated with a snap of a finger. Really, the forge it is more like a knowledge of craft virtual creativity."

Taking you somewhere, transcending you into a higher level, unconsciously, when you realize it, almost 1:30 hours will have passed as in another dimension. A masterfully balanced palette where the crunchy noise of the drums and rhythms will hook you wide awake with a dangerous and delicious dance.

Far away for a fast walk of fame, this is what Techno is supposed to be, and Giri demonstrates his domination of his conceptual sound, and how he can make it special and unique.

Giri, aka Gi Napoletano, started playing music at a very young age in his native city, Naples.

His approach to music production occurred with a makeshift DAW, a PlayStation videogame. Since then, he pursued both passions: synthesizers and sound design and djing and record collection.

Natural leanings guided him towards the purest Detroit techno of the second wave and the darkest UK scene; through time he built a personal deep timbre, a very raw and hypnotic techno groove, definable by a peculiar sound that is recognizable in productions and DJ sets as well.

Only vinyl sets and three decks sets aren't missing in his curriculum in which there are performances with artists such as Laurent Garnier, Steve Bicknell, Juan Atkins, Anthony Rother, Moritz Von Oswald, Octave One, Matthew Herbert, Scan7, Rolando, Recondite, Apparat e many others.

Most significant album and EP releases are on labels like Axis, Awry, Antiterra, Evod, No Signal, Labyrinth, Prophet, New Rhythmic, Srie, Ketra, and more.

In 2020 Giri founded Antiterra Records, which can mention in its catalog artists like Wrong Assessment, Divide, Decoder, Translate e Pulso, Aske, Marcelo Antonio, Booz, Joaquin Ruiz, Berkel, Black Hypnotist, P.God and Dez.

The sun sets over the city, casting a warm orange glow over the streets. People return home tired and exhausted from the day’s hustle and bustle. But for the techno enthusiasts, the night is just beginning. Eagerly tunning into our last favorite podcast, probably hosted by passionate addicts who shared their devotion to music with the world.

As the chapter began to play, the stress and worries melted away. The pounding beats and hypnotic rhythms of the piece transport us to another state, where we can forget about our everyday habits and stressing thoughts and just dance—feeling a sense of communion with other listeners, knowing that we are all experiencing the same thing, at the same time.

In this unique way, some also tuned in to their favorite radio stations all day long, which play techno music around the clock. The rhythms became a constant presence in lives, providing a sense of harmony and balance amidst the chaos of the day-to-day routine. Humming the tunes as we come about the hours, feeling energized and inspired, pleased and beaming.

We realized that our connection went beyond, and we decided to contribute. It was a linkage to a community of like-minded individuals who shared our passion for techno at every point.
And while waiting to dance the night away together, we know that we are anything else, indeed, something that will continue bringing us connected for years to come.

The Art of NWHR is an intense, dynamic, club set. Deep focus on dense textures, bass, and lines squashed onto a compact rut and abstract synths with precise, rugged, and contorted beats to keep you engrossed. A truthfully wild night dance celebration in the most gentle form.

Inspired by NWHR's sound, and the bond between artists and dancers, this short story is about belonging and understanding.
Lines and beats for the start of the new year, thankful once again to all the creators of our scene and online sessions, particularly our collaborators and, of course, our listeners.

▸ Franco Biglieri, aka NWHR, is a producer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

His specialty is dense and textured, harsh and appropriately distorted techno characterized by its somber and hypnotic airs. His musical discourse always has one foot in the future, usually with a dystopian touch.

With his short career he has published several Ep's on various labels such as Ear to Ground, Injected Poison, [R]3volution, Legend1997 to name some.

▷ THE ART OF: Vinicius Honorio | 010

Vinicius Honorio brings us Rio de Janeiro's hustle and bustle rhythms, where the sun kisses the golden sands and the waves sway to a samba beat, portraying a clandestine gathering beneath the moonlit, where techno-groovy takes on a life of its own.

The producer and DJ weaves a tapestry of beats—raw, primal, and an electric funk carioca, intertwines with techno's futuristic pulse. The atmosphere is thick with anticipation, and the Brazilian beats sync with the bassline.

Acid lines intertwine with dub echoes, the talking vocal effect hits hard and very well, and the episode's rhythm transcends, echoing its British spirit in and out of the rough, raw edge of the mix. The samba pulse meets the breakbeat shuffle; the funky rubs shoulders with UK garage. 

And here, between the pulsating grooves bridged by vibrant influences of Rio's roots and London's urban sprawl, a metaphysical bridge of sound emerges, an invisible thread connecting souls across continents moving in unison, celebrating the fusion of music and culture, with their bodies sways translating into the universal language of rhythm, speaking in bass drops and hi-hats.

A pounding redouble final, powerful whip-like synth stabs, alongside a relentless percussive flow, a trace in contrast to the tribal drums and the groove reverberates a transient response.

The Art of Vinicius Honorio is a testament to freedom, resilience, and reinvention. London's techno legacy thrives, where the dancefloor is a pilgrimage on warehouses transformed into sonic sanctuaries, a melting pot of club culture, united by the four-to-the-floor kick.

Let's dive into a banger fun episode, that will for sure move the dancers during his promising expression, and whether you find yourself dancing in the middle of a rave or drifting in city labyrinthine alleys, remember: right beat knows no boundaries and we are the representation of it.

With its raw, dark, and merciless approach to live techno recorded in this rigorous format from its studio, the self-taught episode created by PWCCA combines science fiction with distortion and industrial flavors in an excellent hybrid.

Moody, and percussive real techno style. Distorted atmospheres battle with intense but hypnotic percussion and drums, which help bring the twisted punches to the forefront.

The hypnotizing piece pierces deeply into the psyche before giving way to a thrilling tension generator programmed to alter the result in a rugged and profound implication, a simple path away from the freedom of darkness and a clear and detailed push towards the abyss of the dark atmosphere.

The Composers eleventh is a stellar trip with dark textures only for brave and authentic underground militants.

PWCCA aka Dr Cyanide, born in Madrid on April 26, 1979.
He started in the world of electronic music in 1995, he took his first contact with some dishes in a pub located in his area, driven by a friend who worked in it.
Firstly, he showed progressive and house sounds, but not take long to opt for more underground trends, influenced by large techno producers such as James Ruskin, Richard Polson, Christian Wünsch, Portion reform, Regis or Surgeon among others.
In 1996 and is interested in how to produce electronic music using software and hardware, creating his first beats with a Roland TR 606 and the software for rhythms "Hammer". From that year until 2000, he works as a DJ in various clubs around the city and also gaining experience as a producer.

That same year put into operation with another partner, the only franchise from the famous brand Phrenetic Society, owned by Cristian Varela, where he taught in school and teacher in production Dj midi / audio, adding to these activities, the sale of music and clothes.
This is when he decided to create with his partner, his own record label, called Hardtools, giving life vinyl two references to the brand. 

In 2005 lost contact with the technics, leaving only time to assimilate knowledge as a producer.

Currently it has returned to give life to his label Hardtools, this time digitally, also adding the creation of two other brands for the same function, Basic Form and UK Executes.
 
His works also have been edited on Aine (Pole group), Injected Poison, Newrhythmic, Kobayashi, Donkeyhead, Blackstars corporation, Granulart recordings, MFM, Revolt, Anaoh, Dolma rec, Devotion, Vector Functions, Human recs, Vapourtrail, Subsequent records, Mephyst, Mental records, We call it hard, Luminar records, Recoil, Spectralband, DKN Selections, Concepto hipnotico, Advanced, Armed, Induxtriall records and Konkrezept among others labels.

▸ When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it. This is the case of Hugo Rolan, from Asturias, north of Spain, who has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since his adolescence, and now in his maturity, he masters the language to perfection.

Being primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar of the scene, working in conventional day job. In his spare time, he learned production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, and training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to public his work.

The wait worth it, in 2022 his first work was published on one of the most recognized ceiling labels, Warm Up, managed by Oscar Mulero, a interesting debut album, full of techno.

His second reference is released on one of the most important labels worldwide, Axis Records, owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where his sound is heading.

Facilitating him works on Incense, Legend 1997, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet, Semantica, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms, Edit Select, Fenómenos, West Rules, KeyHole, Voyager and Loopaina Records.

Lanna Club's resident, and example of a true techno lover, loving carefully until the right moment puts him in the desired place.

Sarf is one of those artists who stay true to their own values regardless of trends. Since his first steps in electronics, he has shaped progressively his own approach to djing and producing.

Through his own material or his sets, Sarf conveys a complex vision of Techno: dark, mental and percussive, but with subtle industrial elements. His skills as a DJ were quickly noticed in Spain, taking his sound to almost every corner of the Spanish geography.

We have also seen him perform in countries such as Japan, Colombia, France, China, South Korea, among many others.

In 2015, time has come to open his own label Analog Section, a name that purposely emphasizes his dedication to the physical aspect of electronics. In addition to his own outputs, his imprint has hosted the most cutting edge and well established producers such as Alexey Volkov, Developer, Joton, Takaaki Itoh, PWCCA, Viels, Linear Sysem, STNDRD or his partner Kalter Ende, with whom own 232 Reach.
Releases on Newrhytmic, Rhod, Node, Atroc, Default Series, Concerns, Hardtoolds, and many more.

Without a doubt Sarf will continue to impact the Techno scene with his dark and forceful sound that has always characterized him.
