Le 8 décembre dernier, le bassiste Robbie Shakespear nous quittait à l'âge de 68 ans. Une perte immense pour le reggae dont il était l'un des plus grands bassiste, en tout cas le plus prolifique. Il formait en effet avec Sly Dunbar la mythique section rythmique, Sly & Robbie, qui a accompagné en studio comme en live, les meilleurs chanteurs du reggae pendant des décennies et jusqu'à récemment. Tribute avec la diffusion exclusive en audio d'un live à Montego Bay (Jamaïque), le 30 août 1986 à l'occasion du festival Reggae Sunsplash, featuring Ini Kamoze et The Tamlins. Un certain Dean Fraser est au saxophone et le somptueux "Baltimore" clôt le concert...
