The darkest moment of my life, captured on these tracks. Months of heavy drinking, isolation and depressive thoughts. I was in a spiral of self destruction. It made me understand that the darkness is only alluring from the outside.

It took me long enough to muster the will to put these together and upload them. But I was able to break out of the cicle.

If you ever struggle with anxiety and depression, please, reach out for help. You are a valuable human being. You deserve to be healty and live a happy life. Things can get better.

As I was walking under the shade of the trees I recorded my footsteps and a song started emerging, one musical phrase after another. Back at home I transposed the ideas to sound and this is the final result.

As I was working on my electronic music project Haunted Lab 9 when I stumbled upon a riff from this song by chance. One thing led to another and this became one of the first folk/metal songs to be made by me in a long while. Afterwards it inspired me to make the rest of the album 'Volume One'.

Dark Moss

This song has a sense of urgency due to its fast paced and energetic rhythm. It makes you imagine a story. Maybe you are being chased through the snowy woods. Eventually you find blood upon the snow and your heart starts racing as if you realized you are going to die unless you try and fight back.
