This isn't just any music; it's the infectious, exhilarating beat of Italian-made disco music, internationally known as 'Italo Disco,' promoted by the German label Zyx.
Born in the seventies in Italy, "italo Disco" was the country's answer to the disco fever that was sweeping across the United States.
While the American disco was all about big orchestras and complex arrangements, Italo disco stripped things down.
It was simpler, more electronic, and yet, it retained the infectious groove that made disco so irresistible.

Chapter 2: The Rise of Italo disco
Fast forward to the early eighties, and italodisco's popularity exploded.
Not just in Italy, but across Europe and beyond.
It became the soundtrack of an era, the music that defined a generation's nightlife.
Synthesizers and drum machines replaced traditional instruments, and the music became more futuristic, more avant-garde.

Chapter 3: The Decline of Italo Disco
But like all good things, the heyday of "italo disco" had to come to an end.
By the late eighties, the genre began to decline.
It was replaced by other forms of electronic music like house and techno.
But italodisco never really disappeared; it simply evolved,
influencing and shaping the sound of modern electronic music.

Chapter 4: The Legacy of Italo Disco
Well, it's a genre born out of the disco era, but with a unique Italian twist.
It exploded in popularity in the early eighties, becoming the soundtrack of an era, before gradually fading away.
Its spirit lives on, its influence still heard in today's electronic music.
