MOONPHASE is a fresh imprint of DJ Beat2, rebranded from the earlier label, Coalition Music.

The EP has received excellent feedback from the likes of Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, D-Nox, Sanjay Dutta, Chicola, Lonya and many more.

The maiden EP - Remember The Future is special as it also marks the launch of talented duo from Creative Culture (Colombia), comprising of DJ Dabeat & Juan Pablo who parallelly run their individual musical career. The release is backed by a powerful remix by Producers/DJs, Sahar Z & Interaxxis.

Creative Culture define their EP as ‘Our first album which is inspired by the conjunction of harmony that technology & nature can realise. Evolving through our own experience, nature and technology, we got together making music inspired by environments, experiences, creative trips through the vibrations & imaginations’

Remember The Future EP comprises of three original tracks and a powerful remix:

Remember The Future
The first track has an interestingly suspense beginning which builds some tension with excellent soundscapes designed in the background that keeps the tension on. Grand pads & effects dominate the track as the drums kick in with a synth arp which bring a nice hormonal balance as the track is progressing to its peak.

That’s Us
The second track stays true to its name That’s Us. It gives you a feeling of the world passing by as a listener observing life. Downtempo chill with laid back arp & synth keeps the interest on with FX sounds & Choir samples creating another world experience.

The Old Owl
The third track kicks in with a nice string sound and fx creating an impression of hanging deep inside a forest with the guitar taking you on a Pink Floyd trip as it phases in an out in stereo image. It builds up nicely with percussive arp synth sounds almost building to a climax which comes as a surprise with tinkling sounds and fx running all around along with a vocal sample which brings out the humanness in the midst of these surroundings.

Remember The Future (Sahar Z & Interaxxis Remix)
The EP receives its power from the remix by legendary Producers/ DJs Sahar Z & Interaxxis, who need no introduction to the electronic music community. A progressive rhythm building up from the word go with running hats & suspense stings supported by deep bass sounds. The arrangement keeps building up with no relief till it breaks down temporarily only to pick up more powerful than before, making it an apt peak time track. Excellent production techniques & sound designing make it the highlight track of the EP.

To conclude, a great EP to grace the launch of MOONPHASE which has a balance of electronic chill, downtempo soundscapes to peak time tracks making it a special & memorable

Coalition Music presents Blurr aka Farhan Rehman making his debut on our label. Blur's remix of Balls- Josh Wink caught their attention and inspite of not winning the competition got a release with OVUM Recordings. Apart from that he's released with Wind Horse Records, which is a very well known Indian Deep House label run by the respected Hamza. 

Blur delivers 2 tracks Blur and Sam Fisher which are contrast in nature and Nipun Divecha delivers a proper underground version of Blur perfect for long DJ sets building up for an ecstatic night.
