You didn’t draw the shape you walk in,
Didn’t stitch the fears you fight.
You were born inside a story,
Half in shadow, half in light.
They taught you how to smile for silence,
How to hide what hurts too deep.
But you were only ever trying,
To make it safe enough to sleep.

If no one ever told you,
You’ve done the best you can.
Then hear it now, from someone,
Who really understands.

It’s not your fault you came here broken,
Wearing armor just to breathe.
You were handed all these shadows,
Long before you had the keys.
So do the best with what you carry,
And don’t cause someone else to fall.
You didn’t make the engine, love,
But still you ran through it all.

You didn’t choose the voice that haunts you,
Or the rage that won’t let go.
You didn’t plant the seeds of sorrow,
That your body came to know.
They told you to be stronger sooner,
Told you, “Stand up, don’t complain.”
But you were walking through a thunderstorm,
And they only saw the rain.

So lay that burden down now,
It never did belong.
You didn’t make yourself this way.
But you’ve been trying all along.

You're not a glitch. You’re not a sin.
You’re not what happened way back then.
You’re not the blame that others passed,
You're not the questions they never asked.

You didn’t choose the weight you shoulder,
Didn’t set the world on fire.
But still you’ve tried, still you’ve cared,
Still you’ve walked out of the mire.
So live with grace, and leave the shame—
It never fit you well.
You're not the one who wrote this frame.
You just wore it… 
                    ...and gave it hell.
