These past few years have presented many opportunities for me to explore music and meet some amazing people.

Whist I still love to throw my handbag in the air every now and then, my heart always brings me back to the deeper side of house music.

At a time like this, music feels even more important to keep people connected and hopeful. This mix is collection of tunes that have brightened my days throughout this current lockdown. Hopefully they brighten yours too.

By way of the Emerald Isle, Lawless fell in love with Melbourne, the rich culture and underground music scene. Breaking into competition heavy environment filled with local talent ain't easy and Lawless has shown the dedication to earn prestigious warm-ups for the likes of Subb-an, Diego Krause, Archie Hamilton, Nick Beringer amongst others. 

His penchant for punchy, minimal house grooves for late nights and early mornings drew him to the irresistible Melbourne institution, The Breakfast Club. Lawless has since made his way from the dancefloor to join the crew as a now long-term resident and manager. Delve into this bumping mix and you will hear why this has turned into the perfect fit allowing a place to hone in his skills and explore creativity.

Stepping into the DJ world in 2001 playing breaks and funk in Sydney, Michaelis was on the bill and threw his own parties at institutions such as The Globe, Home, Chinese Laundry, Arthouse and the Burdekin to name a few. In 2014, his move to Melbourne revamped his musical inspirations and a year later he released his debut tune with Suckmusic. Since this time he has been building his collection of music especially vinyl and this year releasing his first EP with Swiss label Fantastic Friends Recordings. He has gifted Moontanned a butter-smooth all vinyl mix packed full of stripped back house grooves and minimal cuts.

Melbourne based and a man of taste, DJ and producer Dan Goul has started to attract well warranted global attention recently. With a growing discography, he is one to keep an ear on, with an upcoming EP with the powerhouse vinyl label Berg Audio. A gun DJ with a gifted hand in production that has been attracting labels like Mixcult Standalone, Farmat, What Robot Says & Gliese to push his sound.
